BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When inserting the primary batteries, ensure that the polarity is correct. Remove the primary batteries if you are not going to use the instrument for a long period of time to avoid damage due to leakage. All primary batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new primary batteries in the instrument may cause the primary batteries to leak and damage the instrument. Do not disassemble, short circuit, or throw primary batteries into a fire. Never attempt to charge primary batteries that cannot be recharged. There is a risk of explosion!

DISPOSAL OF PRIMARY BATTERIES AND ACCUMULATORS

Consumers are required by law to dispose of used primary batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries) in retail collection boxes located wherever primary batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries) are sold. Municipalities also take back used primary batteries and used accumulators (batteries), for example at recycling centers. On the one hand, separate collection keeps pollutants out of household waste and the environment, and on the other hand, it enables the recovery of valuable materials such as steel, zinc and nickel.

The device must be disposed of in accordance with national legal regulations. This device must not be disposed of as household waste. Make the device unusable by cutting off the cables and dispose of it via the designated return system.

If the device contains illuminants, these must be disposed of via the return system provided for this purpose.
