6. INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
The straightener is suitable for use on dry hair. For best results wash, comb, dry and use heat protection products before straightening the hair.
WARNING: Do not use any hair treatment product prior to straightening other than heat protection products which clearly state they can be used before straightening with a hair straightener. Be careful when using heat protection product before hair straightening process. Use them as instructed by the manufacturer and make sure not to make your hair too sticky, otherwise it could cling to the heating plates causing burning or pulling of the hair.
- Make sure your hands are dry, while using the hair straightener. Fully unwind the cable and plug in the straightener to the mains supply. (Straightener arms are pressed together).
- Place the straightener onto a dry and flat heat resistant surface.
- Press the Power button and keep it pressed for few seconds until the hair straightener turned on.
- There are 5 temperature settings (150°C, 170°C, 190°C, 210°C and 230°C) available in this hair straightener, after turning on the hair straightener all the temperature settings start flashing on the digital display.
- We can select any of the temperature settings (mentioned above) with the help of (+ and -) buttons. In case if we don't select any temperature setting, straightener starts heating with 150°C as default temperature setting.
- Once we select the temperature, selected temperature appears in the digital display and start flashing and appliance starts heating up. When the unit reached to the max. temperature, the indicator will stop flashing and the straightener will be ready for use. It will take the straightener approximately 1 minute to reach the Max temperature (230°C).
- Button Lock: All functional buttons will be locked after the button
idle for 5 seconds. Press the On/Off switch button for few seconds and all the buttons will be unlocked.
- In order to straighten the hair, select a section of hair to be straightened and place the hair in between the ceramic coated plates as close to the root as possible, without touching scalp. To prevent damage to the hair do not repeat straightening process on the same section of hair more than once.
- Close the ceramic coated plates firmly together and slide the straightener down the length of the hair in a single motion taking not more than 5 seconds from root to tip to prevent overheating / scorching the hair.
- Release the section of hair and repeat on the next section, straightening the lower sections of hair before the top ones.
- The hair straightener can be turned off any time by pressing and holding the On/Off button (for approx. 3 seconds) or removing the power cable from the mains.
Notes:
- The heat-up time from room temperature to 150°C is approx. 40 seconds.
- The straightener will switch off automatically after one hour. To reactivate, press and hold the On/Off button again.
Styling tips
- To minimize heat damage to the hair, try to do the setting with lower temperatures, moving onto the higher temperature settings, if hair straightening is not satisfactory.
- For best results make sure that the section of hair (to be straightening) should not be more than 5cm wide and 1cm thick.
- For extra protection, use heat protection products before straightening.

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn the appliance off, unplug it from the wall outlet and wait until the plates cool down before carrying out any cleaning activity. Once the straightener has cooled completely, wipe it with a dry cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners. Some residuals may remain trapped within the plates. In this case, wipe them with a cloth dampened with alcohol. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist prior to use. Store the appliance in a dry place. Do not scratch the surface of ceramic coating plates with sharp objects or wipe with coarse materials. Do not use this styler with strong chemicals, like perm lotion. The ceramic coating may peel off after a long period of use. However, it would not affect the styler function of this iron.
