3. Safety instructions for the user

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

• Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
• Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
• The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
  • Always remove the plug from the power socket

when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.

• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
• Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
• The device is not completely disconnected from the power source, even after it has been turned off. To disconnect it completely, disconnect it from the mains plug.

II. ⚠️! Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury

• Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
• Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
• Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the appliance itself.
  • To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.
• Do not use the device with wet hands, on

damp floors or when the atmosphere is humid, there is a risk of electric shock.

• While using the appliance, make sure that the power cord must not be caught or crushed.
• Do not let the motor unit, cord or plug get wet to protect against risk of electric shock.

III. ⚠️ Product use restrictions due to poor condition or breakdown

• Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
• Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid Hazard.
• In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
• In case of hardware problems, do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified technicians.

IV. ⚠️! Restrictions on use when used with children and elders

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

V. ⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING

• To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
• A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
• The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
• Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.

VI. ⚠️! Instructions to follow when using the device

- This appliance works with high temperature,

therefore during the use always hold it by the handle and use extreme caution.

• Do not use the hair straightener inside a bathroom, shower, sauna, etc.
• Never use hairspray with the hair straightener on ionization.
• Keep away the small objects or mini particles away from the hair straightener, to prevent to be sucked in through the protection grid.
• Do not leave the device exposed to the weather (rain, sun, frost...)
• Do not use while bathing.
• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. Do not reach into the water.
• Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
• Never use while sleeping.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
• Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.
• Do not place appliance on any surface while it is operating.
• This hair straightener if it can be fitted on the wall then it should be fitted away and out of reach of persons who are taking a bath or

washing themselves.

- When the hair straightener is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hair straightener is switched off: For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operation current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

• Danger! Risk of electrocution! Make sure that no objects such as hair clips or hair pins are inserted into the appliance. These can cause a short circuit.
• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near water. Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

6. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before Use: Comb through out the hair with a normal brush, so that they get smooth and tangle free.

IMPORTANT: Only use on CLEAN and DRY hair! Do Not use on hair extensions. Do Not use it with hair products (gels, creams, etc.).

• Plug in the appliance into the wall outlet and make sure the voltage of wall outlet is same as product voltage.
• Turn on the appliance with the help of power button, and led light display will illuminate with default temperature of 200^ and hair brush start to heating up.

- Press "+/- "buttons to select the desired temperature.

Note: You can choose the temperature setting among 6 settings like, 100°C, 120°C, 140°C, 160°C, 180°C, 200°C.

*Surface Temperatures of the appliance may vary from what is listed on the display.

How to use hair straightener:

1. Separate a section of hair to be straightened.
2. Place the appliance close to the roots of selected hair.
3. Hold the hair firmly and brush down from root to tip.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for each length of hair until the desired area is straightened. Allow the hair to cool down before applying styling product.
   After use, press the "On/Off" button to turn "off", then unplug your appliance.

Note: wait until the appliance is completely cooled down before handling or storing.

NOTE: Use the product slowly & carefully to avoid contact with skin or Scalp, always take care when using your free hand near the appliance.

AUTO SHUT OFF:

The appliance has an automatic shut off feature for safety purpose. If the appliance is not used for more than 60 minutes continuously, then it will automatically switch "Off". To use it again, simply press the "On/Off" button to turn "On" the appliance.

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING:

Never run the appliance under water or submerge in water.

Unplug the appliance and allow to cool down before cleaning.

Clean the appliance with a soft and dry cloth to wipe away residue or dust. A lightly damp cloth may be used with caution.

STORAGE:

Keep the appliance in cool and dry place after every single use.

Please be sure the appliance is cooled down completely before storage.

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not jerk or strain cord at plug connections.

This hair straightener model is maintenance free.

There is not any need of lubrication or any cleaning liquids.

Always make sure to keep the appliance clean for proper operation.

To avoid overheating make sure to keep the hair intakes unblocked and unclogged.

This appliance should be stored in a safe, cool and dry place.

Keep it out of reach of children.

In case the hair straightener stops working, cause of any reason turns it off and let it cool for few minutes, before turning it on again.
