  1. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off:
    For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operation current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

  3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  4. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
  5. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  6. Do not use this appliance with a programmer, counter or another device which can automatically turn it on because if the appliance is covered or incorrectly positioned there is a danger of fire.

HOW TO USE

The heat button selects the air temperature: cold, hot or very hot

The speed button turns the hair dryer on or off and selects the fan speed: low or high.

FIRST TIME USE

Important: During the first minutes of using for the first time, you may note fumes and a slight smell. This is normal and need not cause concern.

IONIC:

The ionic will output together with the air. With this function, your hair will be more beautiful and softer.

OPERATION

  1. Fully unwind the mains cable.
  2. If required fit on a nozzle or a diffuser.
  3. Adjust to the desired heat setting and blowing strength. The heat switch will work when the speed switch is working.
  4. Press the speed button to turn on the hair dryer selecting the speed as required.
  5. The thermostat will be in action to prevent dangerous overheating when the motor has problem.

HINTS AND TIPS

  1. Wash and condition hair as you would normally.
  2. Ensure hands are dry and hair is not dripping wet.
  3. Always blot hair dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.
  4. If desired, attach the Concentrator to the nozzle of the hairdryer.
  5. As a general guide use higher heat / speed settings for initial drying, rough drying and thicker heavier hair. Use lower settings for finer hair, to complete your style and for more precise control.
  6. Never put the hairdryer down on soft furnishings, bedding or close to a wall or other surface. Never

cover the hairdryer.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Switch the hairdryer off, unplug from the mains and allow to cool fully.
  2. Wipe over the casing using a soft damp cloth (If necessary a little washing up liquid may be used). Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
  3. Remove and wash the concentrator in warm soapy water.
  4. Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly with a soft towel before reusing.
  5. Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.
  6. This appliance is fitted with a rear filter mesh. To prevent ingress of hair, dust or fluff and it MUST be kept clean. Regularly clean the internal filter, by twisting and removing the rear inlet grille. Withdraw the filter and remove any build up of hair and dust.
  7. If you have long hair or use high amounts of styling products, clean the filter regularly i.e. at least once a month.
  8. Never attempt to clean the filter by inserting an implement.

STORAGE

Ensure the hairdryer is completely cool and dry. Do not wrap the supply cord around the appliance. Store in original box in a cool, dry place.
