DANGER
- As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when the switch is off:
To reduce the risk of death by electrical shock:
- Always "unplug it" immediately after using.
- Do not use while bathing.
- Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
- Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
- If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. Do not reach into the water.
WARNING
- To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
- This appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
- Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by , on., or near children or invalids.
- Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working property, or if it
has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.

Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.

While using the appliance, keep your hair away from the air inlets.

This appliance is for use on a circuit having a nominal rating of 220-240V and is factory equipped with a specific electric cord and plug to permit connection to a proper electric circuit.
Make sure that the appliance is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug.
No adapter should be used with this appliance. Do not modify the plug provided; if it will not fit the outlet, have the proper outlet installed by a
qualified electrician. If the appliance must be reconnected for use on a different type of electric circuit, the reconnection should be made by qualified service personnel.
- Never use the extension cords
- The appliance has no user serviceable parts.
- If the cord of a hand-supported appliance is twisted, to untwist the cord before use.

- This appliance is not intended for use by person with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

- When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off:
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operation current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
- This hair dryer if it can be fitted on the wall then it should be fitted away and out of reach of persons who are taking a bath or washing themselves.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- Do not use this appliance with a programmer, counter or another device which can automatically turn it on because if the appliance is covered or incorrectly positioned there is a danger of fire.

The heat button selects the air temperature: cold, hot or very hot
The speed button turns the hair dryer on or off and selects the fan speed: *low or #high.
FIRST TIME USE
Important: During the first minutes of using for the first time, you may note fumes and a slight smell. This is normal and need not cause concern.
IONIC:
The ionic will output together with the air. With this function, your hair will be more beautiful and softer.
OPERATION
- Fully unwind the mains cable.
- If required fit on a nozzle or a diffuser.
- Adjust to the desired heat setting and blowing strength. The heat switch will work when the speed switch is working.
- Press the speed button to turn on the hair dryer selecting the speed as required.
- The thermostat will be in action to prevent dangerous overheating when the motor has problem.
HINTS AND TIPS
- Wash and condition hair as you would normally.
- Ensure hands are dry and hair is not dripping wet.
- Always blot hair dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.
- If desired, attach the Concentrator to the nozzle of the hairdryer.
- As a general guide use higher heat / speed settings for initial drying, rough drying and thicker heavier hair. Use lower settings for finer hair, to complete your style and for more precise control.
- Never put the hairdryer down on soft furnishings, bedding or close to a wall or other surface. Never
cover the hairdryer.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Switch the hairdryer off, unplug from the mains and allow to cool fully.
- Wipe over the casing using a soft damp cloth (If necessary a little washing up liquid may be used). Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
- Remove and wash the concentrator in warm soapy water.
- Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly with a soft towel before reusing.
- Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.
- This appliance is fitted with a rear filter mesh. To prevent ingress of hair, dust or fluff and it MUST be kept clean. Regularly clean the internal filter, by twisting and removing the rear inlet grille. Withdraw the filter and remove any build up of hair and dust.
- If you have long hair or use high amounts of styling products, clean the filter regularly i.e. at least once a month.
- Never attempt to clean the filter by inserting an implement.
STORAGE
Ensure the hairdryer is completely cool and dry. Do not wrap the supply cord around the appliance. Store in original box in a cool, dry place.
COOL SHOT:
With this switch it is possible to interrupt the heating process so that the air can be mixed according to individual requirements.
