BEFORE CONNECTING THE DRYER

- When using electrical appliances, always basic safety measures must be taken to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and/or potential injury. These measures include the following:

- Make sure that the voltage of your wall outlet is 220-240V; 50/60Hz.

- To protect against shock hazard electrical and personal injury, do not insert the cable, the plug or the appliance in water or any other liquid.

• After removing the packaging, check that the device is not damaged, in case of doubt consult a qualified electrician.

- The packaging materials (Plastic bags etc.) should not be leave within the reach of children, after unpackaging keep it in safe and separate place.

- The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damages resulting from improper and careless use of the appliance.

SECURITY MEASURES

- This appliance is designed only for home and non-professional use.

- This appliance works with high temperature, therefore during the use always hold it by the handle and use extreme caution.

- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to disassemble or repair the dryer.

- Do not touch the device with wet hands or feet.

- Do not use the dryer inside a bathroom, shower, sauna, etc.

- Never use hairspray with the dryer on ionization.

- Keep away the small objects or bodies strangers away from the dryer, to prevent to be sucked in through the protection grid.

- Do not leave the device exposed to the weather (rain, sun, frost...)

- While the dryer is connected do not disregard your vigilance and keep it out of reach of children.

• After use, store it out of reach of the kids.

- Do not let the dryer hang from the cord.

- To disconnect the dryer from the mains, pull gently from the plug pin. Never do it by pulling the cable.

- Unplug the dryer, whenever:

- you do not use it.

- Before proceeding with the proper cleaning of maintenance.

- In case of failure, anomalies, or if the dryer has been dropped, the plug or other parts are broken, or the cable is damaged, switch off the appliance and do not try to repair it yourself.

- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid Hazard.

- In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the

appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. This appliance is not intended for use by person with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

1. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off:

2. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operation current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

3. This hair dryer, in case you wish to fix it on a wall, you must make sure to fix it to be out of reach of a person taking a bath in a bathtub or in a shower.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• Your washed hair should be normally dried i.e. by a normal hairdryer, but the hair should remain damp and moistened. When the hair is dry; slightly dampen it with water.
• Before styling, brush or comb your hair to ensure that it is entangled. Prevent the hair from becoming too dry: this may result in frizzy hair which is hard to style. Depending on your own views and ideas you can curl your hair by turning the brush in the desired direction.

Handling:

With the handy sliding-switch the heating and fan capacity can be matched to your individual requirements.

The following settings are possible:

O= off
I = medium temperature / medium airflow

ir gentle drying/styl

II = higher temperature / strong airflow
ast drying and/or styling

THERMAL PROTECTION

- If due to an obstruction in the protection grid or in the air outlet, the dryer overheats, it has an internal protection (thermal switch) that can be activated, which will cause the device to stop automatically. If this happens, disconnect the dryer from the mains and wait 10 to 20 minutes before reconnecting it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Please, disconnect the device first.
• Clean the plastic surface of the housing with a damp cloth and dry it with a dry one. Do not use alcohol or abrasive products.
• It is recommended to clean the rear protection grid periodically. Remove the hair and other debris deposited on the grid.
• Some hair may also be deposited on the air outlet grille, clean it if necessary.

REMEMBER

- Never use the dryer with wet hands, or in a bath, shower, sauna, etc. Do not deposit it on wet areas, such as a damp towel.
