How to clean the immersion blender?

Unplug the appliance. Clean the main body with a damp cloth. Accessories (arm, whisk, bowl, blades) can be washed in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Caution: the blades are very sharp.

How long can I use the blender continuously?

Do not use the immersion blender for more than 1 minute continuously. For the chopper, do not exceed 20 seconds. After 3 uses, let it cool to room temperature.

Can I blend hot food?

Yes, you can blend hot soups, but avoid boiling liquids. Do not immerse the appliance beyond the limit indicated on the arm. Let it cool before cleaning.

How to use the chopper?

Place the blades in the bowl, add ingredients (max size 2 cm), close the lid, attach the main unit and press the start or turbo button. Use the dial to adjust the power.

Is the whisk included with the PowerGear 1500 Pro?

Yes, the Pro model includes a whisk for beating egg whites, whipping cream or mixing cake batters. Attach it by turning clockwise onto the main unit.

• This instruction manual is suitable for different Cecotec hand blender models: PowerGear 1500 and PowerGear 1500 Pro.
• When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons. Make sure you read this instruction manual thoroughly before using this product.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
• Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children.
• Please handle the blades carefully, they are very sharp.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Unplug it from the mains supply when you finish using it or when you leave the room.
• Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec,
• in order to avoid any type of danger.
• Do not use the appliance if its cord, plug, or housing is damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way.

• After removing the packaging, make sure all parts and accessories are present and undamaged. Do not use the appliance if it is visibly damaged. In that case, contact with the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
• Clean the beaker, whisk, chopper bowl, chopper blade, chopper cover, and blending arm by hand with warm soapy water. You can wipe the main body of the blender with a clean cloth.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance.

3. OPERATION

Blender - PowerGear 1500 & PowerGear 1500 Pro

The hand blender is perfectly suitable for preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise, and baby food, as well as for mixing and preparing milkshakes.

1. Insert the blending arm into the main body and turn it clockwise until it locks.

2. Put the ingredients in the beaker and, to prevent splattering, immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients. You can use the hand blender in the beaker or any other container.

3. Turn the device on by pressing the power or Turbo button. You can adjust the power with the dial on top of the main body.

4. Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up, down, and in circles.

Chopper - PowerGear 1500 Pro

The chopper is perfectly suitable for hard foodstuffs, such as meat, cheese, onion, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, prunes, ice, etc.

Warning

The blades are very sharp! Be very careful when handling them.

1. Place the blades of the chopper or the ice-crushing blades in the bowl of the chopper and press them until they lock into place.
2. Put the ingredients in the chopper bowl; solid ingredients should not be larger than 2 cm.
3. Put the chopper cover onto the chopper bowl.
4. Attach the main body to the chopper cover turning it clockwise until it locks.
5. Turn the device on by pressing the power or Turbo button. You can choose the power level (1-21) with the dial on top of the main body.

Whisk- PowerGear 1500 Pro

The whisk is intended for whipping cream, beating egg whites, and mixing dough for sponge cakes and ready mix desserts.

1. Insert the whisk into the whisk coupling unit.
2. Connect the coupling unit to the main body and turn it clockwise until it locks.

1. Press the power button to turn the hand blender on. Press the Turbo button after approximately 30 seconds, in order to prevent the ingredients from splashing.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the blender and detach its accessories before cleaning or storing it.

• Wipe the main body, the chopper cover, and the whisk coupling unit with a wet cloth, do not immerse them in water.

• If food is not easily rinsed off the blade or whisk, pour water and a drop of dish soap in the beaker or the chopper bowl, plug in the blender, immerse the blending arm or the whisk, and press the power button for about 10 seconds. Unplug, rinse under running water, and dry thoroughly.

• Store the blender in a clean, dry place when not in use. Make sure the appliance is clean and dry, and unplugged from the power supply.

Warning

The cutting edges of the blades are very sharp, clean them carefully.

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.

The warranty will not cover the following situations:

• The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
• The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
• Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.

The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
