Warning! Do not use this product near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels in aing water.

  • When the product is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the product is switched off.
  • For additional protection we recommend the installation of a residual current product (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
  • This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
  • A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the manufacturer or a workshop commissioned by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.

  5. The air intake grille will be very hot during operation. Please be sure that the power cord does not come into contact with the air intake grille.

  6. Do not open the casing under any circumstance. Never insert any objects into the air intake and exhaust openings.

  7. Please be sure that objects like hair pins or clips do not enter into the product. This could short-circuit or damage the product.

  8. Let the product cool off completely prior to removing or attaching any accessories.

  9. Never use sprays or water misters near the product while it is in use.

  10. Danger of burns! Some components of the product may be very hot during operation. Therefore, touch the product only on the handle.

  11. Never cover the air intake and exhaust openings during use.

  12. Ensure that hair cannot enter into the air intake and exhaust openings. If air intake and exhaust openings are covered during use, the integrated overheating protection will shut the product off automatically. Disconnect the power plug and allow the product to cool off prior to restarting it. Inspect whether the air intake grille is soiled and remove any residue, e.g. hair or lint.

Before first time use

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for future storage. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately. After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care.

Mounting and dismounting of attachments

1 Put the desired brush attachment and rotate it until it locks into place. Note the markings on the attachment and product.

Note

Always place an attachment before you insert the mains plug in the wall socket.

2 To remove the attachment, hold the Release/Lock button and turn the attachment before you pull it off.

Warm air and cold air

3a For warm-air styling, switch to Care.
3b For cold-air styling, choose Cool. Press on the lock release button and slide the switch to Cool.

A Styling with the Hair curler attachment

4 Put on the hair curler attachment and plug the power cord in the wall socket.
5 Press down the lever and place a strand of hair between the curling iron and clamp tongue. Rotate the curling iron in order to wrap the hair around the rod.
6 Switch on the product by selecting the Control switch to the desired setting.

2- Warm airflow for fast styling 1- Gentle airflow for simple styling 0- Off

Note

• Thinner streak for smaller curls
• Larger streak for broader waves

Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.

7 Unwind the strands of hair from the curling attachment and open the clamp tongue. Allow the hair to cool before styling. Switch off the product, when you have finished your hair styling.

4 Put on the corresponding brush attachment and plug the power cord in the wall socket.
5 Place the brush in the hair.

6 Switch on the product by selecting the Control switch to the desired setting.

Note

Make brushing movements from top of the head downwards while you slightly turn the brush.

Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.

7 Switch off the product, when you have finished your hair styling.

D Styling with the retractable brush

4 Put on the corresponding brush attachment and plug the power cord in the wall socket.
5 Divide the hair before styling. Start the styling with the underlying strands.
6 Switch on the product by selecting the Control switch to the desired setting.

2- Warm airflow for fast styling

1- Gentle airflow for simple styling 0- Off

Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.

7 Turn off the product. Slide the switch in direction of arrow to remove the brush from your hair.

Cleaning and care

Note

Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents, metal, or pointy objects for cleaning.

8 Unplug and allow the product to cool off prior to cleaning.
9 Clean the exterior surfaces of the product with a small brush or dry cloth.
10 Clean the attachments with a moist cloth.
