How to attach accessories to the Koenic KHA 102 P curling iron?

Place the desired brush accessory and rotate it until it clicks and locks. Note the marks on the accessory and the product. To remove the accessory, hold the Unlock/Lock button and rotate the accessory before removing it.

What accessories are provided with the KHA 102 P?

The box contains 5 accessories: a heated round brush (A), a large round brush (B), a narrow round brush (C), a mixed bristle round brush (D), and a retractable brush (E).

How to use hot air and cold air mode?

For hot air, switch to Care. For cold air, press the Unlock/Lock button and switch to Cool. The control button allows you to choose between off (0), cold air (1), and hot air (2).

Can I use the curling iron in the bathroom?

Yes, but with caution. Unplug it after use because proximity to water poses a danger even when off. It is recommended to install a residual current device (RCD) of max 30 mA in the bathroom electrical circuit.

How to clean the product?

How to use the retractable brush?

Divide your hair into sections. Place the brush, turn on the appliance to the desired setting, then style by turning gently. When done, turn off the appliance and slide the switch in the direction of the arrow to retract the brush and remove your hair.

The power cord is damaged, what to do?

7. Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.
8. Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.
9. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
10. The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.
11. The power plug is used as the disconnect product. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.

24. Let the product cool off completely prior to removing or attaching any accessories.
25. Never use sprays or water misters near the product while it is in use.
26. Danger of burns! Some components of the product may be very hot during operation. Therefore, touch the product only on the handle.
27. Never cover the air intake and exhaust openings during use.
28. Ensure that hair cannot enter into the air intake and exhaust openings. If air intake and exhaust openings are covered during use, the integrated overheating protection will shut the product off automatically. Disconnect the power plug and allow the product to cool off prior to restarting it. Inspect whether the air intake grille is soiled and remove any residue, e.g. hair or lint.

Before first time use

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for future storage. Mounting and dismounting of attachments

Put the desired brush attachment and rotate it until it locks into place. Note the markings on the attachment and product.

Note

Always place an attachment before you insert the mains plug in the wall socket.

To remove the attachment, hold the Release/Lock button and turn the attachment before you pull it off.

Warm air and cold air

3a For warm-air styling, switch to Care.
3b For cold-air styling, choose Cool. Press on the lock release button and slide the switch to Cool.

Note

Brush against the direction of hair growth while you touch your scalp with the brush pins.

Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.

Switch off the product, when you have finished your hair styling.

5 Divide the hair before styling. Start the styling with the underlying strands.
Switch on the product by selecting the Control switch to the desired setting.

7 Turn off the product. Slide the switch in direction of arrow to remove the brush from your hair.

Cleaning and care

Note

Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents, metal, or pointy objects for cleaning.

8 Unplug and allow the product to cool off prior to cleaning.
9 Clean the exterior surfaces of the product with a small brush or dry cloth.
10 Clean the attachments with a moist cloth.

Caution

• Never submerge the product in water or any other liquid while cleaning.
• Ensure that no water enters into the interior of the product (around the switch), in the inlet grille and air outlet.
