Warning! Do not use this product near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels, draining water.

• When the product is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the product is switched off.
• For additional protection we recommend the installation of a residual current product (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the manufacturer or a workshop commissioned by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
• Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning and care.

Safety Instructions

1. Read this manual before first use
   thoroughly. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment. Keep these instructions for future reference and pass it on with the product.
2. Pay particular attention to the warnings on the product and in this instruction manual.
3. Use the product only for its intended purpose. Improper use may lead to hazards.
4. This product is designed for household use only. It is not suitable for commercial use.
5. In the event of improper use or wrong operation, we do not accept any liability for resulting damages.
6. The use of accessories and components not expressly recommended by the manufacturer may result in injuries or damages and voids the warranty.
7. Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.
8. Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.
9. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
10. The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.
11. The power plug is used as the disconnect product. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
12. Only removing the power plug can separate the product completely from the mains supply.
13. Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
14. Make sure, the product, including power cord and power plug are not exposed to hot surfaces.
15. Only unplug from the power outlet by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.

16. Disconnect the power plug when the product is not in use, in case of malfunctions, prior to attaching accessories and prior to each cleaning.

17. If the power cord or the casing of the product is damaged or if the product is dropped, the product may not be used before it is examined by a professional electrician.

18. Use this product in dry indoor areas only and never outdoors.
19. If the product should fall into water, disconnect the power plug from the power outlet immediately. Touch the water only after the product has been disconnected from the mains supply. Have the product inspected by an electrician.
20. When placing the product out of your hand during use, always switch it off for safety reasons.
21. The air intake grille will be very hot during operation. Please be sure that the power cord does not come into contact with the air intake grille.
22. Do not open the casing under any circumstance. Never insert any objects into the air intake and exhaust openings.
23. Please be sure that objects like hair pins or clips do not enter into the product. This could short-circuit or damage the product.
24. Let the product cool off completely prior to removing or attaching any accessories.
25. Never use sprays or water misters near the product while it is in use.
26. Danger of burns! Some components of the product may be very hot during operation. Therefore, touch the product only on the handle.
27. Never cover the air intake and exhaust openings during use.
28. Ensure that hair cannot enter into the air intake and exhaust openings. If air intake and exhaust openings are covered during use, the integrated overheating protection will shut the product off automatically. Disconnect the power plug and allow the product to cool off prior to restarting it. Inspect whether the air intake grille is soiled and remove any residue, e.g. hair or lint.

Styling attachment	Usage
A Thermo-Round Brush	Gives the hair more volume and fullness from its roots. Brush can also be used for fixing the tips of long hair and the smoothing of natural curls.
B Large Round Brush	For smooth cascading curls. Suitable especially for mid-length to long hair.
C Small Round Brush	For smaller and medium-sized curls. Suitable especially for short and mid-length hair or for layered hairstyle.
D Round Brush with mixed bristles	For smaller curls. Suitable especially for short hair or for layered hairstyle.
E Retractable brush	For larger curls. Suitable especially for mid-length and natural wave hair.

Before first time use

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for future storage. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately. After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care.

Mounting and dismounting of attachments

Put the desired brush attachment and rotate it until it locks into place. Note the markings on the attachment and product.

Note

Always place an attachment before you insert the mains plug in the wall socket.

To remove the attachment, hold the Release/Lock button and turn the attachment before you pull it off.

Warm air and cold air

3a For warm-air styling, switch to Care.
3b For cold-air styling, choose Cool. Press on the lock release button and slide the switch to Cool.

4 Put on the corresponding brush attachment and plug the power cord in the wall socket.
5 Place the brush in the hair.
Switch on the product by selecting the Control switch to the desired setting. 2- Warm airflow for fast styling 1- Gentle airflow for simple styling 0-Off

Note

Brush against the direction of hair growth while you touch your scalp with the brush pins.

Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.

Switch off the product, when you have finished your hair styling.

5 Place the brush in the hair.

Switch on the product by selecting the Control switch to the desired setting.

Note

Make brushing movements from top of the head downwards while you slightly turn the brush.

Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.

Switch off the product, when you have finished your hair styling.
Styling with the retractable brush
Put on the corresponding brush attachment and plug the power cord in the wall socket.
5 Divide the hair before styling. Start the styling with the underlying strands.
Switch on the product by selecting the Control switch to the desired setting.

Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.
7 Turn off the product. Slide the switch in direction of arrow to remove the brush from your hair.

Cleaning and care

Note

Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents, metal, or pointy objects for cleaning.

8 Unplug and allow the product to cool off prior to cleaning.
9 Clean the exterior surfaces of the product with a small brush or dry cloth.
10 Clean the attachments with a moist cloth.

Caution

• Never submerge the product in water or any other liquid while cleaning.
• Ensure that no water enters into the interior of the product (around the switch), in the inlet grille and air outlet.
