Safety instructions

e power supply unit shall not be used, if pins of the plug part are damaged.

• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be replaced.

• When disposing of the product, please consult an electrician or your retailer to remove and dispose of the built-in batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.

• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the rechargeable battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and explosion!

Intended use

This product is only suitable for trimming body hairs, with or without shaving cream, as well as for trimming beards and sideburns. This product is not intended for commercial use. It is designed for household use only. Any other use may result in damage to product or injuries.

The Imtron GmbH assumes no liability for damage to the product, for property damage or for personal injury due to careless or improper usage of the product, or usage of the product which does not meet the manufacturer's specified purpose.

Before first time use

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.

Note

• For first time use, charge the product for at least 1.5 hours. The general charging time is about 1.5 hours which also depends on the condition of the battery.
• When the battery is fully charged, the product can be used for 60 minutes. The time may vary (depending on the battery condition).

Preparation

Fig.1 Connect the USB C plug with the USB C charging socket, the USB A plug with the charger and the charger with a suitable socket outlet. The charging indicator light shines red while charging and blue when the battery is fully charged. Charge the battery for at least 1.5 hours before first use.

Low battery warning:

When the battery is less than 10% the indicator light keeps on flashing red.

Operation

• Switch on the device by pressing the on/off button.
  To switch off the device press the on/off button again.

Note

Do not use the product with:

• Skin wounds
• Inflamed skin
• Sunburn
• Pimples and blisters

The hair to be cut should be clean.

Longer hair should be shortened before using the hair clipper.

1. Choose a trimmer attachment (1 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm), depending on the desired hair or beard length and push it on the shaving head until it clicks into place.
2. Follow the point Switch on hair trimmer.
3. If necessary shorten the hair gradually.
4. Guide the hair trimmer slowly through the hair. Hold the hair and beard trimmer in such a way that the trimmer attachment rests as flat as possible.

Note

Depending on the position and angle of the trimmer, the cutting lengths may differ.

1. Without a trimmer attachment hair can be completely cut off.

1. Use moderate force to pull off the trimmer attachment with your thumb and forefinger.
2. Remove the trimmer attachment.
3. Without trimmer attachment the hair is shaved down to the skin.

Shaving legs

• Hold the trimmer in such a way that the long hair trimmer and the shaving blade touch the skin with the same amount of pressure.
• Slowly guide the trimmer along the skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth, applying a slight pressure.

Shaving armpits

It is particularly important that the skin is tautened. This can easily be achieved in the armpit area by holding the arm high above the head.
Armpit hair grows in different directions. For this reason it is necessary to shave several times and in different directions in this area.

Trimming bikini area

To trim the hair to a specific length, you can use a trimming attachment.
- Slowly guide the device with the trimmer in the opposite direction of the hair growth.

Wet shaving

Wet your skin and apply a thin layer shaving foam to the parts which shall be shaved.
- Follow steps as given above in chapter Shaving

Note

Only proper shaving foam may be used with the razor, as shaving gel will gum up the shaving head and impair the result.

Travel lock

Activate: Press the on/off button for 3 seconds to activate the travel lock. The indicator light flashes in blue.

Deactivate: If the indicator light flashes in blue when you want to switch on the product, then the travel lock is activated. Press the on/off button for 3 seconds to deactivate the travel lock. The product turns on.

Cleaning and care

Warning

When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).

Fig. 5 After every use, please use the cleaning brush to thoroughly brush and blow out hair.

• Danger! Be carefully when removing and inserting the shaving head to avoid injury.
  Clean the outside of the product with a slightly damp cloth and dry well.
• Remove the shaving head by turning it to the left (as seen from above). Take it off.
  Clean the shaving head and the holder with the provided brush. If necessary, blow out the corresponding parts.
• Put the shaving head back on the holder so that both arrows are aligned and lock it by turning it to the right (seen from above).
  The shaver is suitable for being cleaned under running water.
• Keep the product in a dry, cool location which is protected against moisture and direct sunlight. Keep this product out of the reach of children.
