- Warning! Only use the blender when the lid or guard is in the position of use as specified in this instructions. Never put your hand into the blender jar when it is on the stand. Always use a suitable tool, such as the provided spatula, to push food down.

Intended Use

This product is intended for preparing fruit and vegetable juices (smoothies) by chopping fruits or vegetables in private household only. Any other use may result in damage to product or injuries. To avoid dangerous situations, do not use this device for any purpose other than those described in the instructions. Improper use is dangerous and voids the warranty. The Imtron GmbH assumes no liability for damage to the product, for property damage or for personal injury due to careless or improper usage of the product, or usage of product which does not meet the manufacturer's specified purpose.

Before First Time Use

Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately. After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and Care.

Mixing food

Caution

Never use this product to mix with hot oil, fat or other hot food stuff s.

Safety switch

This feature ensures that you can only switch on the product if you have correctly assembled the blender on the motor unit. If the blender is assembled correctly, the built-in safety switch is closed.

Fig. 6 Use the control knob to set the desired speed between MIN and MAX or P (manual short-term operation). To select a mode, set the slider to ON and then select the desired Smoothie, Auto clean or Ice crush mode.

Smoothie and Ice crush functions

For adding ingredients see the following table.

- Turn the control knob to ON position, and the indicators of three mode selection buttons blink. Press the Smoothie or Ice crush button, the corresponding indicator light turns on continuously and the appliance starts to work.

Note:

The speed cannot be adjusted manually when operating in Smoothie or Ice crush mode.

If you want to stop the appliance manually, press the Smoothie or Ice crush button again or turn the control knob to OFF.

- During operation, you can remove the measuring cap and add ingredients to the jar through the center opening. Attach measuring cap again after adding ingredients.

Caution

Do not operate the appliance for more than 3 minutes per time and a minimum 30-minute rest time must be maintained between two consecutive cycles.

  • When the smoothie or ice is processed, the appliance will stop automatically.
  • Unplug the appliance and then remove the jar from the motor unit, carefully remove the lid, then pour and serve.

Warning

Do not continuously use the product. If the recommended time exceeds 3 minutes, let it cool down sufficiently before using it again. Are all ingredients blended as desired release the power button to turn off the product. Unplug the product.

Tips for use:

  • Ensure, that enough fluids have been added to the food stuff s. Proper blending is not possible without a sufficient amount of liquid.
  • Do not process too big amounts at once.
  • Remove skin, stems and stones before processing the food.
  • Cut the ingredients into suitable pieces of approx. 15 x 15 mm.
  • When processing foods of different consistencies, at first fill the mixing cup with fruits with hard consistency and at last with soft and fruity consistency and liquid.
  • In case pieces of food are fixed or jamming inside the mixing cup remove the jar and shake it until those pieces are released. Attach the mixing cup and continue processing.
    Warning! Do not shake the complete appliance with mixing cup assembled but always remove the mixing cup for doing so.
  • Never process hard ingredients like nuts or big grain.
  • Only insert small ice cubes for ice crushing.
    • Always add liquids when processing fruits, vegetables and crushed ice.

  • You can stabilise the mixer correctly if you place your hand on top of the closed blender jar.
  • It may be useful to use the pulse mode when blending any solid or very thick food products, as this will prevent the cutting blade from becoming clogged.

Cleaning and Care

Warning

When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).

Fig. 13 For the first primary cleaning, remove the blender jar from the motor unit, take off the lid and pour out any leftovers. Fill the blender jar with about 0.5 liter water, attach the lid and put it back into the motor unit. Set the control to ON and select the Auto clean function. The auto clean function is stopped automatically. If necessary, repeat the process several times.

Note: We recommend to clean the product directly after every usage as residues from food can be removed more easily.

Warning

The cutting blade is very sharp.

Fig.15 Turn the emptied blender jar upside down and remove the base with the blade by turning it clockwise. Clean the blade and base under running water and with a brush. Be careful when cleaning the knife to avoid injury.

Note: Detachable parts are dishwasher safe. Assembling is done in reverse order.

Do not touch the cutting blades. The blades are extremely sharp.

Fig.17 Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly. Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example, through the switch). Keep the product in a dry, cool location which is protected against moisture and direct sunlight. Keep this product out of the reach of children.
