  • This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are being supervised or have been instructed concerning the usage of the product in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

  • Prior to each use, with an adjustable bed or with split mattresses, ensure that the electric blanket or the power cable is not trapped or pushed together.
  • When storing the appliance, please make sure it's dry before folding.
  • Store the product in a clean and dry place.
  • Never place any object on the product.
  • The product is not to be used by young children over the age of three unless the controls have been pre-set by a parent or guardian, and unless the child has been adequately instructed on how to operate the controls safely.

Put on the heating blanket

Using the heating blanket

Fig. 5 Press the +/− buttons to set the desired temperature level. There are 10 temperature levels to choose from.

Notes:

  • If the heating blanket is too warm, please reduce the temperature setting.
  • Setting 1 is recommended for continuous use. This heating blanket is not intended for use in hospitals or for commercial applications.
  • It may not be used on infants, small children, persons insensitive to heat, helpless persons or animals.
  • Prolonged use of the heating blanket at a high setting could lead to skin burns.

Automatic switch-off function

Fig. 6 The heating blanket switches off automatically after approx. 60 minutes continuous operation. The switch-off time can be set in 10 levels or 1 hour increments from 1 to 10 hours using the timer button. If you are not going to use the heating blanket after the automatic switch-off, disconnect the power plug from the mains.

Cleaning and care

  • Warning! Before cleaning, always let the product cool down and disconnect it from the mains.
  • Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects.
  • Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).

Fig. 7 Unplug the power plug from the power outlet. Detach the connector from the heating blanket. Remove smaller stains with a soft brush. Clean the heating blanket (without control unit) according to the laundry care symbols on the label.

  • Only use the heating blanket again when it is completely dry.
