Frequently Asked Questions - GR-MG78 Gymrex

How to assemble the GR-MG78 exercise bike?
Start by screwing the front and rear stabilizers onto the flywheel system housing. Insert the handlebar post and the seat post. Attach the saddle, handlebars, and control panel. Connect the sensor cables. Screw the pedals onto the cranks. Use the tightening screws to adjust the seat height.
How to turn on the screen and adjust settings?
Insert two AA batteries into the compartment at the back of the control panel (observe polarity). The screen lights up briefly then goes into standby. Press the MODE button to wake the screen. Use the SET button to adjust time, distance, or calories. Each press increases the value. To reset, press RESET during exercise.
How to adjust resistance during exercise?
Manually turn the resistance knob located on the flywheel system housing. An arrow on the knob indicates the selected level among 8 levels. Turn towards '+' to increase resistance, towards '-' to decrease.
How to measure heart rate with the GR-MG78?
Place your hands on the sensors integrated into the handlebar. The screen displays your pulse under the PULSE indicator. For a recovery test, press RECOVERY (if available – this model has a monitor but no dedicated RECOVERY button; follow the procedure described in the manual). In normal mode, the pulse appears automatically when you hold the sensors.
What is the maximum user weight and height?
The maximum allowed weight is 110 kg. The seat adjustment range allows a height from 720 to 885 mm. There is no explicit height limit, but adjust the seat height for optimal comfort.
How to clean and maintain the exercise bike?
Unplug the device and remove the batteries. Use a soft damp cloth to clean the frame, handlebars, and saddle. Do not use corrosive products, metal objects, or water jets. Dry thoroughly after cleaning. Store in a dry, cool place. Regularly check the tightness of screws.
What to do if the screen flickers or turns off?
This usually indicates low batteries. Replace the batteries with two new AA batteries. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
The bike makes noise or shakes during use, what to do?
Make sure the device is on a flat and stable surface. Tighten the screws of the handlebar and stabilizers. If the noise persists, slightly loosen screws that are too tight. Also check that the pedals are properly screwed in.
How to store the bike after use?
Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long time. You can fold it to save space: unscrew the seat adjustment knob, lower the seat as much as possible. Store it in a dry place, away from dust and humidity.
Can I use this bike if I have health problems?
Consult your doctor before any training, especially if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, or a pacemaker. Stop immediately if you experience chest pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
