How to assemble the BC50TFWTS fan?

Assemble the two halves of the base by aligning the groove. Remove the bottom screw from the housing, unroll the cable and pass it through the hole in the base. Place the base under the housing aligning the slots, then tighten the screw clockwise. Finally, route the cable through the channel provided on the edge of the base.

How to use the remote control?

Remove the plastic protective film from the battery compartment for first use. To change the battery, remove the holder, insert a CR2025 battery respecting polarity (+/-), then replace the holder.

What ventilation modes are available?

Three modes: Normal (constant speed), Natural (random variation between speeds), Sleep (speed cycles according to the chosen setting).

How to set the timer?

Press the TIMER button. Each press adds 30 minutes, up to a maximum of 7.5 hours. The timer displays on the LED screen.

What does the ionic function (ION) do?

The fan produces negative ions that help remove dust, allergens, and odors, thus improving indoor air quality.

How to clean the fan?

Always unplug the device. Clean it with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents and do not immerse the device in water.

What if the fan wobbles?

Slight wobbling is normal for a tower fan with oscillation, to prevent it from falling in case of contact. Ensure the base is properly attached.

Can I use the fan outdoors?

No, it is designed only for indoor use in dry locations. Do not use it near water or outdoors.

What if the power cord is damaged?

Do not use it. Have the cable replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center to avoid any electrical risk.

How to dispose of the appliance at end of life?

Do not throw it away with household waste. Dispose of it at a collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in accordance with local regulations.

The fan is designed exclusively for the ventilation of dry rooms.

It is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial use.

Only use the fan as described in these operating instructions.

1. Only use this appliance in accordance with the guidelines in the operating instructions. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer could result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.

1. Remove the packaging and make sure that the unit is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the unit and contact the service centre or your dealer.

2. Keep children away from packaging materials. There is a danger of choking if swallowed!

3. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised service centre in order to avoid all possible risks.

4. Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the type of current and mains voltage correspond to the specifications on the appliance type plate.

5. The electrical socket in which you connect the unit must not be defective or loose and must be suitable for the required current load and, above all, reliably earthed.

6. Avoid using an extension cord as it could overheat and cause a fire.

7. It is forbidden to adapt or modify the characteristics of this appliance in any way and use only spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer (failure to do so will invalidate the guarantee and warranty).

8. If the unit has a defect, switch it off and contact your dealer or the customer hotline.

9. Always and only contact customer service centres authorised by the manufacturer for any repairs to the appliance, mains plug or cable. You can find the service centres online at www.becool.at.

Technical information

If the fan has to be stored for a long time and is not used regularly, place the fan in its original packaging in a dry place. When using it for the first time after a long period of inactivity, make sure that the fan is clean and the motor blades are unrestricted (unit not powered).

Preparation

Before you start assembling the product, make sure that all parts are present. Included in the delivery: fan housing, fan foot (base) and remote control.

• Estimated assembly time: 15 minutes

Assembly

Step 1: Select the two halves of the base, align the groove and join them together to form a complete unit. Make sure that both halves of the base fit together properly.

Step 2: Remove the fixing screw from the bottom of the fan housing, unwind the power cable and pass it through the hole in the fan base. Then add the base and rotate it to ensure that the two slots are perfectly aligned with the housing.

Step 3: Tighten the fixing screw (clockwise) and allow the power cable to pass through the cable duct on the edge of the base to make the product flatter and more stable. You have now completed the assembly of the tower fan.

Note: Please note that it is normal that the tower fan with swivel function may wobble slightly or appear unstable. This is to ensure that the fan does not immediately fall over when touched and that it performs the swivel function properly.

Preparing the remote control - Inserting or replacing the battery

Please follow the instructions below:

Initial operation:

To operate the remote control for the first time, please pull out the plastic protector from the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.

Change battery:

Pull out the battery holder on the back of the remote control and remove the old battery from the holder:

When operating the fan, press the Speed button to set the speed to low, medium or high to .

3 different wind modes can be selected: normal, natural and sleep mode.

A) Normal wind: Separate operating modes for low, medium and high wind strength.

B) Natural wind: Changes the fan speeds randomly between the 3 speeds as follows:

C) Sleep wind: Will cycle the fan speeds. The cycle depends on the fan speed setting as follows:

TIMER button:

The setting is from half an hour to 1 hour and up to 7.5 hours. Each additional button press adds half an hour until a maximum of 7.5 hours is reached. You can orientate yourself accordingly by the LED display on top of the tower fan.

SWING button:

Press the button to activate the fan's swivel function. Press again to deactivate the swivel function.

ION button:

The tower fan starts to generate negative ions, which are used to improve the air quality in the room.

Note: Negative ions are tiny charged particles that are released into the air. They can help remove dust, allergens and other harmful particles from the air by attracting them and pulling them to the ground. In addition, negative ions can also help reduce unpleasant odours and create fresher, healthier indoor air. This contributes to an overall improved air quality and a more pleasant indoor climate.

CLEANING

NOTE:

Always disconnect the mains plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.

1. DO NOT immerse the unit in water or spray it with other liquids.
2. DO NOT use solvents or other chemical products for cleaning. Store the fan in a dry place when not in use.
3. When you stop using the fan at the end of the season, wipe off the dust to keep it in good condition for the next season. If necessary, dismantle the grille and remove the fan; clean it with a soft, damp cloth.

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a decision for innovation, durability and reliability.

For this BECOOL appliance we grant a guarantee period of 2 years from the date of purchase, valid in Austria! If, contrary to expectations, service work should nevertheless be necessary on your appliance during this period, we hereby guarantee to repair it free of charge (spare parts and labour) or (at the discretion of Schuss) to exchange the product. If neither repair nor exchange is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the current value.

In the case of air conditioners, please contact the customer hotline as a first step (see sticker on the unit or cover page of the operating instructions), in the case of fans, please contact your specialist dealer or us directly. We would like to point out that repair work that has not been carried out by the authorised contract workshop in Austria will immediately terminate the validity of this warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear

The provision of warranty service (repair or replacement of the appliance) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year warranty is only valid on presentation of the purchase receipt (must contain the name and address of the dealer as well as the complete designation of the unit) and the corresponding warranty certificate, on which the type of unit as well as the serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the unit) must be noted! Without the guarantee certificate, only the legal guarantee applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this guarantee and continue undiminished.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in the event of gross negligence or intent.
