The low battery/charge status lamp turns off.
Charging abnormal
The low battery/charge status lamp keeps blinking in red quickly, twice a second.

Notes
After charging is completed, if the power switch is turned on while the shaver is being charged, the low battery/charge status lamp lights on in red and then turns off after 5 seconds. This means that the shaver has been fully charged.
- Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 10 - 35^ (50°F - 95°F). It may take longer to charge, or the low battery/charge status lamp will blink in red quickly and the battery may fail to charge properly in extremely high or low temperatures.

Using the shaver

1 Press the power switch.

2 Hold the shaver as illustrated above and shave.
Start shaving by applying gentle pressure to your face. Stretch your skin with your free hand and move the shaver back and forth in the direction of your beard. You may gently increase the amount of pressure as your skin becomes accustomed to this shaver. Applying excessive pressure does not provide a closer shave.
You can also use a pen grip to hold the shaver.
The low battery/charge status lamp keeps blinking in red once a second for 5 second after the power switch is pressed.
Notes
The appliance may not operate in an ambient temperature lower than approximately 5^ (41^) Before shaving, check that the cleaning shutter is closed. Do not place your fingers on the power switch while using the shaver. This may cause the shaver to turn off. Do not use shaving creams or face cleansers containing scrubbing compounds as these may cause the outer foil to clog.
Using the trimmer
Slide the trimmer handle up to open the trimmer. Place the trimmer at a right angle (90 degree) to your skin and move downwards to trim your sideburns.
You can still use the shaver once or twice after the low battery/charge status lamp blinks in red. (The actual times of use may differ depending on the duration of usage.) A full charge will supply enough power for approx. 20 shaves based on one 3-minute dry-shave use per day. (This will differ depending on usage.)
- Remove the shaver from the AC adaptor.
- Apply some hand soap and some water to the outer foil. Close the cleaning shutter.
- Turn the shaver on.
