How to charge the barcode scanner?

How to connect the scanner in wireless mode?

Insert the supplied wireless USB dongle into a free port on your device. Scan the pairing barcode (see the manual). The blue LED lights up continuously once connected.

How to use the scanner in wired mode?

Connect the RJ45 to USB cable to the scanner and to a USB port on your computer. The scanner is then operational without needing a dongle.

How to restore factory settings?

Scan the factory settings restore barcode (see chapter 6 of the manual). Then select the desired connection mode (wireless or wired).

What types of barcodes can the scanner read?

The scanner supports many barcodes: CODABAR, Code93, Code11, Code39, Code128, EAN8, EAN13, UPC-A, UPC-E, MSI, GS1 and many others. See the manual for the full list.

How to turn off the scanner?

Scan the shutdown barcode (see chapter 9.4). You can also let it go into automatic standby after a set time.

How to clean the scanner?

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the device. Never immerse it in water and avoid harsh cleaning products.

4. Initial use

Take the device and the accessories out of the package and remove all packaging material. Charge the barcode scanner fully before using it for the first time. For this, connect the RJ45 to the USB cable via the RJ-45 connector with the barcode scanner and plug the USB connector into a free USB port of your computer or into a 5 V USB power adapter. To remove the cable at the bottom of the barcode scanner, press the latch of the RJ-45 connector downwards and disconenct the cable.

To operate the device, the USB receiver must be connected to a free port of your computer, notebook or tablet. Scan the following code:

Wireless mode

The driver is installed automatically. The device is now ready to be used. For advanced settings, continue with chapter "9 Advanced Settings".

The device goes into sleep mode after a configured time. To do this, scan the following barcode ("Sleep setting mode") and then the barcode with the desired time:

11. Cleaning and Care

Before cleaning ensure that the barcode scanner is not connected to any USB port and is switched off. Use a soft dry cloth to clean and wipe the barcode scanner carefully. For cleaning, never immerse the device in water!

Never try to open the device to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not waterproof, hence please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The device should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or modification to the device, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The device should only be used by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the device may be changed without any special prior notification.
