Vibration total values (triax vector sum) determined according to EN 60745:
| Vibration emission value a _h | _h | |
| a_h = | m/s ^2 | 4.1 |
| Uncertainty K = | m/s ^2 | 1.5 |
The vibration emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accordance with a standardised test given in EN 60745 and may be used to compare one tool with another. It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.

WARNING: The declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tool. However if the tool is used for different applications, with different accessories or poorly maintained, the vibration emission may differ. This may significantly increase the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the times when the tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may significantly reduce the exposure level over the total working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibration such as: maintain the tool and the accessories, keep the hands warm, organisation of work patterns.

General Power Tool Safety Warnings

WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
SAVE ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1) WORK AREA SAFETY
a) Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
2) ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
3) PERSONAL SAFETY
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A
wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
4) POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool's operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc., in accordance with these instructions taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for
operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
5) SERVICE
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Additional Specific Safety Rules for Wet Tile Cutter
- Always use guard provided with the tool. The guard must be securely attached to the power tool and positioned for maximum safety, so the least amount of blade is exposed towards the operator. Position yourself and bystanders away from the plane of the rotating blade. The guard helps to protect operator from broken blade fragments and accidental contact with the blade.
- The rated speed of the blade must be at least equal to the maximum speed marked on the power tool. Blades running faster than their rated speed can break and fly apart.
- Blades must be used only for recommended applications. For example: do not grind with the side of cut-off blade. Abrasive cut-off blades are intended for peripheral grinding, side forces applied to these blades may cause them to shatter.
- Keep hands away from cutting area and blade. Keep your second hand on auxiliary handle or motor housing. If both hands are holding the saw, they cannot be cut by the blade.
- Do not reach underneath the workpiece. The guard cannot protect you from the blade below the workpiece
- Never hold piece being cut in your hands or across your leg. Secure the workpiece to a stable platform. It is important to support the work properly to minimize body exposure, blade binding, or loss of control.
- Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a "live" wire will also make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and shock the operator.
- Always use blades with correct size and shape (diamond versus round) of arbor/bore holes. Blades that do not match the mounting hardware of the saw will run eccentrically, causing loss of control.
ENGLISH
- Never use damaged or incorrect blade washers or bolt. The blade washers and bolt were specially designed for your saw, for optimum performance and safety of operation.
- Always use undamaged blade flanges that are of correct diameter for selected blade. Proper blade flanges support the blade thus reducing the possibility of blade breakage.
- The outside diameter and thickness of your blade must be within the capacity rating of your power tool. Incorrectly sized blades cannot be adequately guarded or controlled.
- Do not use damaged blades. Before each use, inspect the blades for chips and cracks. If power tool or blade is dropped, inspect for damage or install an undamaged blade. After inspecting and installing the blade, position yourself and bystanders away from the plane of the rotating blade and run the power tool at maximum no load speed for one minute. Damaged blades will normally break apart during this test time.
- Wear personal protective equipment. Depending on application, use face shield, safety goggles or safety glasses. As appropriate, wear dust mask, hearing protectors, gloves and shop apron capable of stopping small abrasive or workpiece fragments. The eye protection must be capable of stopping flying debris generated by various operations. The dust mask or respirator must be capable of filtrating particles generated by your operation. Prolonged exposure to high intensity noise may cause hearing loss.
- Keep bystanders a safe distance away from work area. Anyone entering the work area must wear personal protective equipment. Fragments of workpiece or of a broken blade may fly away and cause injury beyond immediate area of operation.
- Position the cord clear of the spinning blade. If you lose control, the cord may be cut or snagged and your hand or arm may be pulled into the spinning blade.
- Never lay the power tool down until the blade has come to a complete stop. The spinning blade may grab the surface and pull the power tool out of your control.
-
Do not run the power tool while carrying it at your side. Accidental contact with the spinning blade could snag your clothing, pulling the blade into your body.
-
Regularly clean the power tool's air vents. The motor's fan will draw the dust inside the housing and excessive accumulation of powdered metal may cause electrical hazards.
- Don't unplug if plug or receptacle is wet. Disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the tool. Then unplug and examine for presence of water in the receptacle.
- Wait for the saw to come to a complete stop. An unprotected, coasting blade will cause the saw to walk backwards, cutting whatever is in its path. Be aware of the time it takes for the blade to stop after switch is released.
- Do not use to cut wood or metal.
- Never use toothed or segmented diamond blades. This tool is not equipped with a lower guard.

WARNING: Keep hands away from cutting area and blade. Personal injury may result.

VG: To reduce the risk of electrocution, keep all connections dry and off the ground. Do not touch plug with wet hands.

WARNING: A Portable Residual Current Device (PRCD) is provided on the cord set. Receptacles are available having built in PRCD protection and may be used for an added measure of safety. When using an extension cord, always plug into a PRCD protected receptacle or outlet.

NG: Always plug extension cord into a PRCD protected outlet.

VG: Test PRCD before each use:
- Plug PRCD into power outlet. Indicator should turn red.
- Press test button. Red indicator should disappear.
- Press reset button for use. Do not use if above test fails.

VG: Never use saw with salt water or a conductive fluid.
Additional Safety Rules
- Use clamps or another practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against your body leaves it unstable and may lead to loss of control.
- Keep your body positioned to either side of the blade, but not in line with the saw blade.
- NOTICE: Blades coast after turn off. Serious personal injury may result.
ResidualRisks
In spite of the application of the relevant safety regulations and the implementation of safety devices, certain residual risks cannot be avoided. These are:
- Impairment of hearing.
– Risk of personal injury due flying particles. - Risk of burns due to accessories becoming hot during operation.
– Risk of personal injury due to prolonged use.
