How to connect the AVerVision M11-8MV camera to a projector?
Use the HDMI cable (not included) or the VGA cable (not included) to connect the camera to the projector. For power, plug the supplied USB cable into a USB 5V/1A power adapter (not included) or into a computer.
How to capture an image with the camera?
Press the image capture button (composite button). Ensure you are in Power Only mode (Power) in the OSD menu > Settings > USB to PC. The image is saved on the SD card or USB flash drive.
How to record a video?
Press and hold the AF button for 3 seconds to start recording. Press again for 3 seconds to stop. The video file is stored on the inserted memory media.
How to use the annotation function?
Connect a USB mouse to the USB port of the camera. In the OSD menu, go to Presentation > Annotation. In live mode, right-click to display the toolbar and choose color, thickness, and line type.
How to adjust the focus?
In normal mode, press the AF button for autofocus. For manual focus, use the zoom buttons (forward/backward) after disabling autofocus in the OSD menu.
What is the maximum resolution of the camera?
The maximum capture resolution is 3168 x 2376 pixels (8 MP). HDMI and VGA outputs support up to 1920 x 1080 (Full HD).
How to activate PIP mode (picture in picture)?
In the OSD menu, go to Presentation > PIP. Choose the location of the thumbnail (Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Left, Lower Right). The screen will display a small window with the captured image.
How to play recorded files?
Switch to Playback mode via the OSD menu > Playback. Use the navigation buttons to select an image or video. Press the AF button to start video playback, or the zoom button to enlarge the image.
Which memory card to use?
The camera accepts micro SD cards formatted in FAT32 with a maximum capacity of 32 GB. Same for USB flash drives connected to the USB port.
How to install the AVerTouch software?
Download the AVerTouch application from AVer's website (https://www.aver.com/download-center/). Connect the camera to the computer via USB, then set the USB mode in the OSD menu > Settings > USB to PC > USB Camera. Launch the application and connect the camera.

Presentation Mode (Live)

[Note] Before using annotation feature or PIP/PBP function of presentation mode, set the camera to Power Supply Only mode first. Go to OSD menu > SETTING > USB to PC > Power Supply Only.

Annotation

In single image live (preview) mode, user can use the annotation feature to overlay straight line or freeform line on the captured image with the USB mouse connected to the USB port of M11-8MV.

  1. Connect the mouse to USB port of M11-8MV.
