Safety instructions

  • Only use the appliance for the intended purpose it was designed for, as described in this manual.
  • The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use.

• DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.

- NEVER USE A DAMAGED APPLIANCE! Check the electrical connections and cord regularly for any damage. When damaged, disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Any repairs should only be carried out by a supplier or qualified person to avoid danger or injury.

- WARNING! When positioning the appliance, route the power cable safely if necessary to avoid unintentional pulling, being damaged, coming into contact with the heating surface, or causing a tripping hazard.

- DANGER OF INJURY! Care should be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades during cleaning.

- Do not operate the appliance without load to prevent over heating.

- CAUTION! ALWAYS switch the machine off and disconnect the power supply before touching any motoring parts.

- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• This appliance is classified as protection class II.

- WARNING! ALWAYS keep hands, long hair and clothing away from the moving parts.

- This appliance should not be used for cutting frozen food, bone-in meat or fish, etc.

- NOT SUITABLE FOR CONTINUOUS USE! Do not continuously operate the appliance to avoid overheating the motor. The continuous operation time should not exceed over 3 minutes. Operate the appliance again, after it has been cooled.

- WARNING! During operation, keep hands and utensils out of the container to reduce the risk of severe personal injury and / or damage to the blender.

- Do not immerse the shaft into the water or liquid less than 5 cm.

- Do not use the machine without the appropriate container.

Intended use

  • This appliance is intended to be used for commercial applications, for example in kitchens of restaurants, canteens, hospital and in commercial enterprises such as bakeries, butcheries, etc., but not for continuous mass production of food.
  • This appliance is intended only for pureeing, emulsifying and mixing hot and cold food commercially. It allows for preparation of soups, puree, creams, marzipan mass, cheese creams, etc. directly in the pot. Any other use may lead to

Preparation before use

  • Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
  • Check that the device is in good condition and with all accessories. In case of incomplete or damaged delivery, please contact the supplier immediately. In this case, do not use the device.
  • Clean the accessories and the appliance before use (See ==> Cleaning & Maintenance).
    • Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
  • Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resistant surface that is safe against water splashes.
  • Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in the future.
  • Keep the user manual for future reference.

NOTE! Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may emit a light odor during the first few uses. This is normal and does not indicate any defect or hazard. Make sure the appliance is well ventilated.

Operating instructions

Operating the appliance

  1. Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before assembly.
  2. Connect the blending shaft to the main unit.
  3. Check that the ON/OFF button is in the released (flat) position.
  4. Connect the appliance to the power supply.
  5. Then, press the ON/OFF button. The appliance will turn on.

BE CAREFUL!

  1. To turn off the appliance, release the ON/OFF button.

CAUTION: Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage corresponds with the power supply details shown on the rating label.

REMARK: There is no lock function for continuous operation.

Starting and stopping the appliance

  1. Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before assembled.
  2. Connect the blending shaft to the main unit.
  3. Check that the ON/OFF button is in the released (flat) position.
  4. Connect the appliance to the power supply.
  5. Press and hold the Safety button first.
  6. Then, press the ON/OFF button at the same time. The appliance will start up. BE CAREFUL!
  7. Release the Safety button, the appliance will keep operating.
  8. To stop the appliance, release the ON/OFF button.

Continuous operating the appliance

Follow steps 1 to 7 above, then:

  • With the ON/OFF button in "pressed" position, press Locking button once.
  • Release the ON/OFF button and the appliance will keep operating in a continuous mode.
  • To turn off the appliance, press and release the ON/OFF button.

Variable speed operation

Follow steps 1 to 7 above, then:

- Change the speed of the motor by turning the variable speed button towards the maximum or minimum as required. It is advisable to start the device at a low speed when using the whisk. With the self-regulating speed system, the selected speed will remain constant even if the consistency of your mixture changes.

REMARK:

Blender function: For better control, we recommend you hold the bender by the handle and the bottom of the motor unit. Furthermore, we recommend you tilt the bender slightly to prevent the bell from touching the bottom of the container. Always make sure that the bell is sufficiently immersed to avoid splashing and that the air vents of the motor unit do not come into contact with any liquid. For optimum efficiency, two-thirds of the blending arm should be immersed in the mixture being prepared.

Assembling / Disassembly of the attachments

The assembly / disassembly operations of the appliance are performed with the appliance stopped and disconnected from the power supply.

Assembly

  1. Align and insert the coupling of the blending shaft or the whisk in the clutch of the main unit. Make sure the narrower part of the appliance coupling fits the concave side of the blender shaft or whisk arm coupling.
  2. Screw the nut up to fasten it firmly to the main unit.

Follow the above steps in the reverse order to disassembly the accessories.

Cleaning & maintenance

  • ATTENTION! Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and cool down before storage, cleaning & maintenance.
  • Do not use water jet or steam cleaner for cleaning and do not push the appliance under the water as the parts will get wet and electric shock might be resulted.
  • If the appliance is not kept in a good state of cleanliness, this can adversely affect the life of the appliance and result in a dangerous situation.
  • Food residues should be regularly cleaned and removed from the appliance. If the appliance is not cleaned properly, it will reduce its lifespan and may result in a dangerous condition during use.

Cleaning

  • Clean the cooled exterior surface with a cloth or sponge slightly dampened with a mild soap solution.
  • For reasons of hygiene, the appliance should be cleaned before and after use.
  • Avoid water contacting the electrical components.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Never use aggressive cleaning agents, abrasive sponges, or cleaning agents containing chlorine. Do not use steel wool, metallic utensils, or any sharp or pointed objects for cleaning. Do not use petrol or solvents!
  • No parts are dishwasher safe.

Maintenance

  • Check the operation of the appliance regularly to prevent serious accidents.

Transportation and Storage

  • Never place heavy objects on the appliance as this could damage it.
  • Do not move the appliance while it is under operation. Dis connect the appliance from power supply when moving and hold it at the bottom.

Troubleshooting

In case of a power cut or if the device has been un-plugged, release the ON/OFF button, check the power supply and restart the device.

If the device is switched off due to overheating, re-lease the ON/OFF button, and unplug the de-vice, wait a few minutes for the motor to cool down and the thermal safety mechanism to be reset, and then restart the device.

If the cause of the problem cannot be determined: release the ON/OFF button, unplug the device, check below:

  1. the plug
  2. that the blades are free to rotate in the bell,
  3. that state of the power cord,
  4. the drive shaft is free to rotate. To this end, remove the bell and test the rotation of the end of the drive shaft manually.
    If a malfunction occurs which is listed in this operation manual, consult your retailer or return the device to the after-sales service.

Warranty

Any defect affecting the functionality of the appliance which becomes apparent within one year after purchase will be repaired by free repair or replacement provided the appliance has been used and maintained in accordance with the instructions and has not been abused or misused in any way. Your statutory rights are not affected. If the appliance is claimed under warranty, state where and when it was purchased and include proof of purchase (e.g. receipt).
