Please take your time to read through the manual and follow all safety and operational instructions in order to achieve best results. 1. Designated use

The Solar Mole-Dog-Cat-Repeller Diamant is designed to repel moles and other rodents in the ground as well as cats and dogs. The device generates quartz vibrations to repel voles, moles and ants, and in addition, a frequency generator emits changing, acoustic waves of 20.000 – 27.000 Hz and vibrates in the ground. This irritation is very annoying to most ground dwelling animals.

Any other use as the mentioned is not permitted! No liabilities will be taken for damages or consequential damages or claims resulting out of not reading and/or not following the user guide and/or any form of modification on or in the product. Under these circumstances, no warranty services will be granted.

2. Important information on the function and use

The device emits acoustic waves that ate irritating for rodents living in the ground. Most underground rodents have poor eyesight, yet nature has given them a very acute sense of hearing and sensitivity to ground vibration. The Solar Mole-Dog-Cat-Repeller Diamant exploits this sensitivity to produce a penetrating vibration over an area of approx. 1250 m ^-2 at 3 second on and 57 seconds pause intervals. The changing frequencies prevent the animals from getting adapted to the noise. If the irritating sound stays, the animals will leave the area. It can take a few days or a few weeks for this to take

place. The device should be in permanent operation, so that the effect is not interrupted. The dispersion of the sound is related to the local surroundings.

Note: The response of each animal to our animal repellent may vary. The development of our devices, methods and application tips are based on experience, testing and feedback from our customers. Therefore the devices are successful in most cases.

3. Safety instructions

• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not belong in the hands of children. Children may not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
• The device may only be used with the stated voltage: 2 x AA rechargeable, Ni-MH, 1,2 V, 850 mA
• Repairs may only be made with original spare parts to avoid serious damage. If original parts are not used the device can become dangerous and warranty and CE become invalid.
• It must be determined if the device is suitable for the respective use.
• The device may only be used by children over eight years and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or the lack of knowledge or experience, if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the device by a person responsible for their safety and have understood the dangers resulting out of the use.
• Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them on when giving the device to a third person.
• Do not remove any stickers from this device. The sticker may contain important safety information.
• If the device should show any signs of damage or malfunction, do not use it.
• If you do not use the device for an extended period of time, remove the batteries and store them accordingly.
• Batteries should not be used in temperatures under 0 °C. They may become damaged and lose their capacity.
• Place the device in such a way that it does not become a tripping hazard.

5. Getting started

Specifically generated sound frequencies and quartz vibrations can cover an optimal range of up to about 1250 m^2 underground (moles, etc.) and about 150 m^2 above ground (dogs & cats). Depending on soil conditions and natural circumstances, these areas may vary.

Insert the device into the ground as shown in Figure 1. Be sure to press the earth firmly around the device. The denser and firmer the soil around the device, the better the vibrations are conducted. Select the operating mode on the bottom of the housing. The device is now ready for use.

3. [Press 3 x] to activate the quartz vibration and ultrasonic tones alternately
4. [Press 4 x] OFF

Check the function of the device regularly. In case it does not work normally, a replacement of the rechargeable battery might be necessary (see point 3).

Replacing the batteries

1. Remove the transparent cover.
2. Carefully take off the solar panel from the rechargeable battery which is underneath. When doing so, make sure that the cable connection between the solar panel and the circuit board which is underneath the rechargeable battery, is left intact and is not damaged.
3. Remove the old batteries.
4. Insert new rechargeable AA batteries, Ni-MH with 1.2 V and 850 mA. Mind the correct polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.
5. Carefully replace the solar panel.
6. Reattach the transparent casing cover to the body.

6. Application

The use of the Solar Mole-Dog-Cat-Repeller Diamant is in gardens, fields and other open areas, where unwanted ground animals may roam. The finely tuned electronics with powerful solar modules ensure a consistent function even in low light conditions.

Because of the Mole's Repellent transposition ... ... the Mole migrates from your garden! TODAY 2 WEEKS LATER Please do not put the Vibrasonic Molechaser directly into the molehill. Turn it off or pull it out periodically to avoid a habituation effect.

To successfully and permanently get rid of all moles from your property, there are a few points that must be followed closely:

• The mole should not be „encircled“ by the device. It should be driven from the house towards the borders of the garden.
• To do this, start by placing one or several devices between the wall of the house and the nearest molehill. Never put a device directly into a hill!
• Gradually move the Repellent in 2 to 3 week intervals towards the edge of the garden and away from the house. This time span is needed, as you will notice the molehills „migrating“. If the hills are still in the same place after four weeks, please check if the device is really working (the sound is audible). The batteries might be depleted. If this is the case please use a new set of batteries.

• The span of time needed to move an animal may vary for a number of reasons. The mole might be more resistant, or the surrounding soil is mainly sandy or contains a lot of peat or clay. This has an effect on the range and efficiency of the sound.

• The Solar Mole-Dog-Cat-Repeller Diamant has an integrated cylinder which allows you to quickly change batteries, without having to retrieve the device.

• It is also recommended to switch the device off at intervals, as the mole will gradually become accustomed to the noise.
• The fact that there might be more molehills than before after a short time of using the device, is quite normal and should not be the cause for worry. The mole notices a change of his environment and wants to find out where it comes from. However in the long run, the sound becomes too annoying and it will move away.

8. General information

• The CE conformity has been declared. All documents are at our office and can be viewed.
• For safety and conformity reasons it is not permitted to rebuild or modify the device and/or use it in any other way than described above.
• As Gardigo has no control of the correct and appropriate installation and use of the device, the warranty can only be applied to a fully equipped device in prime condition. We assume neither warranty nor liability for damages or following damages related to this product. This applies especially if modifications or repairs have been made by the customer, if the circuitry has been modified or components have been used, other than the original components and/or if the operation of the device has been incorrect, careless or abusive.
• The device may be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use any solvents or detergents.

Environmental protection notice

At the end of its life span this product may not be disposed as normal household waste but must be disposed of at a collecting place for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The icon on the product, in the manual, or on the packing points to this fact. The materials are recyclable according to their labelling. Consumers are legally obligated to return used and rechargeable batteries, whether they contain harmful substances* or not, to designated recycling areas, disposal sites, or stores where batteries/rechargeable batteries can be bought. By doing so, you are fulfilling all legal battery recycling and disposal obligations and are contributing to a better environment. Make sure batteries are completely discharged before disposing!
