SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Place the device on a level surface.
• Only use the unit indoors.
• Unplug the device when not in use.
• Never immerse the power cord or the plug in water or other liquids.
• Only use equipment that is expressly recommended for this device by the manufacturer.
• Do not place the device directly under a power socket.
• Do not let the power cord hang off the work surface so that children cannot pull on it.
• Do not overfill the unit, otherwise short circuits and electric shocks may occur.
• Make sure that the lid is always closed during operation.
• Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cable; instead, hold it securely with your hand while unplugging it.
• Only use this device for its defined purpose. We accept no liability for damage caused by disregarding the instructions or improper use. Only use the device in the household.
• Do not connect the device to a timer or remote-controlled socket.
• Do not immerse the device in water.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorised specialist company or a similarly qualified person.
• When disposing of the appliance, follow the local regulations for the disposal of appliances containing flammable gas.
• Do not store highly flammable or explosive substances in the unit.
• Only fill the device with drinking water.
• Children from the age of 8 years and mentally, sensory and physically impaired persons may only use the device if they have been informed in detail about the functions and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for them beforehand and understand the associated risks.

This unit contains the refrigerant Isobutane (R600a), a natural gas that has high environmental compatibility, but is flammable. Although it is flammable, it does not damage the ozone layer or increase the greenhouse effect. The use of this refrigerant results in a slightly higher noise level of the unit. In addition to the compressor noise, you can hear the flow of refrigerant. This is unavoidable and has no negative effect on the performance of the device. Be careful during transport to avoid damage to the refrigerant circuit. Refrigerant leaks can irritate the eyes.

WARNING

Fire hazard from improper disposal! Please observe the local regulations for the disposal of appliances containing flammable refrigerants and gases.

• Keep ventilation openings in the unit housing free of obstructions.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to speed up the defrosting process or the ice-making process.
• Do not use any other type of electrical appliance inside the ice maker.

Special Notes

• When positioning the unit, take care that the power cord is not pinched or damaged.
• Make sure that there are no multiple sockets or power supply units on the back of the device.

To avoid contamination of food, please follow the instructions below:

• Regularly clean surfaces that may come into contact with food. Clean the water drain regularly.
• If the device has a water tank, clean it if the device has not been used for 48 hours. Rinse the tank if no water has been drawn for 5 days.

WARNING

When using, during maintenance and when disposing of the device, pay attention to the left symbol located on the back or on the compressor of the device. This symbol warns you of possible fires. There are flammable substances in the refrigerant lines and in the compressor. Keep the appliance away from sources of fire during use, maintenance and disposal.

BEFORE FIRST USE

• During transport, the angle of inclination of the housing should not be more than 45^ and the ice maker should not be turned upside down. This could damage the compressor and the sealed system.

• Remove all packaging materials and carefully inspect the ice machine to ensure that it is in good condition, free of damage, and that the ice machine, power cord, and plug are not damaged.

• The ice maker should be placed level on a flat surface to ensure good ventilation of the ice maker.

• Allow 150 mm of space at the top, back and each side. Do not place the ice maker near a stove, radiator, or other heat source.
• Before using the ice maker for the first time, please wait 2 hours after setting it up and keep the front lid open for at least 2 hours.
• Make sure the voltage listed on the ice machine matches the voltage in your home.
• Do not use distilled water for ice making. We recommend using spring water.

CONTROL PANEL AND BUTTON FUNCTIONS

To turn the device on, press the button.

The light will turn on and a long beep will sound. You need to refill water and restart the device.

This lights up when the device is making ice

This lights up when the ice bin is full of ice.

Press this button to turn off the device.

OPERATION

1	Open the lid and fill the water tank with water.
	Note: Make sure the water level in the water tank does not rise above the bottom of the ice basket.
2	Connect the device to the mains.
3	Press the ON button to turn on the device. The ice maker starts to work.
	Note: The ice will come out a few minutes after starting, the ice is soft and wet at the beginning. However, this will change in the course of operation.
4	Press the OFF button to stop the machine.
5	Pull out the silicone drain plug in the water tank to drain the water.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Always disconnect the power plug from the mains before cleaning.
- Remove the ice holder.
- Clean the inside of the device with a mild detergent, warm water and a soft cloth.
- Rinse the inside of the device with clear water and drain the water through the water drain hole by unscrewing the cap.
- The exterior of the device should be cleaned regularly with a mild detergent and warm water.
- Dry the inside and outside of the device with a soft cloth.
- Drain the water from the water tank if you will not be using the device for a long period of time.
- Clean both the internal water tank and the large water tank with a mild detergent, warm water and a soft cloth. Rinse the inside with clean water and drain the water through the water drain hole by unscrewing the cap. This will keep the device hygienically clean and ensure that the device works normally.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Potential cause Possible solution
The compressor operates abnormally with a whirring noise.	The voltage is lower than recommended.	Turn off the ice machine and do not restart until the voltage is normal.
	The compressor has been damaged during transport.	Turn off the ice maker and leave it on a flat surface for 24 hours. Then turn it back on.
The ADD WATER indicator lights up.	The amount of water is not sufficient.	Fill in water.
	The pump is blocked. Clean the water pump after taking it out.
	The pump is defective. Please contact customer service.
The indicator lamps on the display do not light up.	Blown fuse / no power. Change the fuse / turn on the power.
The device works correctly, but no ice comes out.	Gas leak. Please contact customer service.
