Before using the unit, be sure to read all operating instructions carefully. Please note that these are general precautions and may not pertain to your unit.

  1. Read this Instruction Manual before you attempt to connect or operate the appliance.
  2. Keep these instructions in good condition. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions.
  3. Save this Instruction Manual for future reference.
  4. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product. Dry location use only.
  5. No naked flame source, such as candles, should be placed on the product.
  6. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings.
  7. Only use accessories, which are specified by the manufacturer.
  8. Use replacement parts, which are specified by the manufacturer.
  9. Install the unit in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
  10. Place the unit where there is good ventilation. Place the system on a flat, hard and stable surface. Do not expose to temperatures above 40^ C. Allow at least 10 cm clearance from the rear and the top of the unit and 5 cm from each side.
  11. Press the player's buttons gently. Pressing them too hard can damage the player.
  12. Dispose of used batteries in an environmental-responsible manner.
  13. Always ensure that the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before moving or cleaning. Clean it with dry cloth only.
  14. Turn off the product during lightning, storms or when it will not be used for long periods of time.
  15. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform servicing. Take the product to the electronics repair shop of your choice for inspection and repair.
  16. NEVER let anyone, especially children, push anything into holes, slots or any other openings in the unit's casing as this could result in a fatal electric shock.
  17. Don't mount this product on a wall or ceiling.
  18. Do not place the unit near TVs, speakers and other objects that generate strong magnetic fields.
  19. Do not leave the unit unattended when it is in use.
  20. Keep minimum distances around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
  21. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
  22. The use of apparatus in tropical and/or moderate climates.
  23. Batteries should be disposed properly. Take them to the collection container in order to protect the environment.

UNPACKING THE DEVICE

When unpacking, ensure that the following elements are included:

1 x Portable Karaoke
1 x Microphone
1 x Micro USB charging cable
1 x Instruction manual
1 x Strap

WARNING: All packaging materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties and tags are not part of this product and should be discarded.

POWER SOURCES

The portable karaoke operates with the micro USB charging cable (included) or with a USB type adaptor (not included) 5V-1A. Input: 100 \~ 240V, 50/60 Hz.

Power supply

  1. Check that the unit is switched off.
  2. Insert the small end of the micro USB cable (included) into the micro USB charging port on the side of the unit.
  3. Connect the other end of the micro USB cable into the USB port of your powered computer or USB type power adaptor and connect it to a wall socket. The LED in the front of the unit lights up in red when the device is charging.
  4. Once loading is complete the LED light will turn off.

Note: Please note that the micro USB cable can be used for battery charging only and not for data transfer.

The micro USB cable can be used for charging during playback.

WARNING:

  • Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Please only replace it with the same or equivalent battery. (For service instructions only; battery is not intended to be replaced by the user).
  • The battery should not be exposed to high temperatures, such as sunlight, fire or anything similar.
  • Significant electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharges may cause the device to malfunction or lose data. If the device is not functioning correctly, switch it off and then on again, or unplug the USB cable. In case the function could not resume, please use the product in other location.

TURNING THE UNIT ON AND OFF

  1. Slide the power switch to "ON" position to turn the unit on. Once the device is turned on, the blue LED light on the front will start flashing and you will hear a sound beep.
  2. Slide the key to "OFF" position to turn the unit off.

Note: In order to save the battery power, ensure the power key is in "OFF" position if the unit is not in use.

When the unit is left on, it still consumes energy.

WARNING: Significant electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharges may cause the device to malfunction or lose data. If the device is not functioning correctly, switch it off and then on again, or unplug the USB cable.

MODES

The portable karaoke includes several modes among: Wireless, USB, TF card (up to 32GB) and AUX In (LINE IN).

To change modes, press the M button.

PAIRING

  1. Turn the unit on, a signal will sound to notify the device is ready to be paired. The blue LED light on the front will start flashing.
  2. Activate the wireless function on your personal device and make sure it is in discoverable mode.
  3. Confirm pairing or select the wireless name "BTC050" to connect your player to the karaoke.
  4. Once pairing is successful, a signal will sound. You can play an audio or a video file. Adjust the sound volume level using the keys on your personal device or the volume buttons of the karaoke.
  5. To stop the connection with the karaoke, select another mode or the press the disconnection button on your audio player.

Note: Some music players do not fully support wireless audio controls. Play/pause, previous and next buttons on the wireless speaker may not respond. The music player may also turn off. To get the best control experience in the said player, use the on-screen track controls of your music player rather than those on the speaker.

Notes:

  • The portable karaoke only connects to one device at a time.
  • Make sure the effective distance between the audio player and the karaoke is within 10m.
  • Interference may occur during playback when using the wireless function near other wireless devices. If playback through wireless is problematic, move the wireless speaker and the playback device to a different location, or use the

3.5mm AUX IN jack instead of the wireless function.

USB PORT

  1. Power on the unit and insert a USB Flash Drive (not included) into the USB port, ensuring it is fully inserted in the correct way. The karaoke will automatically start playing music from the USB.
  2. To stop the playback, change modes or remove your USB Flash drive from the micro USB port.

TF CARD

  1. Power on the unit and insert a memory card (not included) into the, TF card slot, ensuring it is fully inserted in the correct way. The karaoke will automatically start playing music from the USB.
  2. To stop the playback, change modes or remove your TF card from the slot.

AUX IN

  1. Power on the unit. Insert one end of the AUX In cable (not included) into your audio device and the other end into the AUX in jack of your portable karaoke.
  2. To adjust the volume, push and hold the button or control the volume functions from your audio player.
  3. To stop the playback, change modes or remove the AUX In cable from the AUX in jack.

Note: When the speaker is in AUX In mode, the PLAY/PAUSE, PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons on the speaker are disabled. Please use the control buttons on your music player to get the best control experience of the music.

SETTINGS

Play / pause

In wireless, USB and TF card modes, press ▶for playback or pause the music.

Previous / next track

In wireless, USB and TF card modes, push the buttons to go the previous or next track.

Volume

In all modes, push and hold the buttons ◀◀ or ▶▶ to decrease or increase the volume.

Karaoke

  1. Power on the unit and launch your music with the wireless function or a USB Flash Drive, memory card, AUX In cable.
  2. Press the button 6 to activate the karaoke function, turn down the singer's voice, and sing like a star.
  3. To deactivate the karaoke function, press again the same button

CAUTION: Too high volume can damage your hearing. For this reason, please turn the volume down.

MICROPHONE

With your portable karaoke you can sing the songs by connecting a microphone (included) to the unit under wireless, USB or TF card mode (up to 32GB).

  1. Insert the end of your microphone cable to the microphone in jack on the side panel.
  2. Push the on/off interrupter to "ON" position to turn the mic on.
    Note: Do not bring the microphone too close to the speakers as it may cause audio feedback (squealing noise) through the speakers.

STORAGE COMPARTMENT

Thanks to the portable speaker with microphone, you can easily store your cables and your strap. A space is planned to put small accessories. Not suitable for storing the microphone.

MAINTENANCE

To prevent fire or shock hazard, disconnect your unit from the power source when cleaning. The finish on your unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture. Use a soft, clean cloth moistened with plain, lukewarm water to clean the exterior of the unit. Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts. Mild soap and a damp cloth may be used on the front panel.

WARRANTY

This product is covered by our 2 years warranty program, except for the integrated battery which is covered by a 6-month warranty.

For any claim under the warranty or after sale service, please contact your distributor and present a valid proof of purchase. Our warranty covers any manufacturing material and workmanship defect, with the exception of any deterioration arising from the non-observance of the instruction manual or from any careless action implemented on this item (such as dismantling, exposition to heat and humidity, etc.). It is recommended to keep the packaging for any further reference.
