How to connect the camera to the Wi-Fi network?

Download the Smart Life app, create an account, tap '+' and select 'Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)'. Make sure the LED is flashing red, then follow the steps in the app by entering your Wi-Fi password (2.4 GHz only). Scan the QR code displayed with the camera.

The LED is not flashing, what should I do?

If the LED does not flash after powering on, unplug the camera, wait a few seconds and plug it back in. If the problem persists, perform a reset by pressing the reset button with a paperclip.

Can I use an SD card in the camera?

Yes, the camera accepts Micro SD cards up to 128 GB formatted in FAT32. Insert it into the slot. You can then view recordings via the app.

How to enable detection notifications?

In the Smart Life app, tap the icon at the top right (settings) to enable sound and motion detection. Notifications will be sent to your smartphone.

The camera only connects to 2.4 GHz, how to configure my router?

Check that your router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network (not 5 GHz). If your router is dual-band, ensure the 2.4 GHz SSID is separate or temporarily disable the 5 GHz band during pairing.

What do the different LED colors mean?

Solid red: camera is powering on or malfunctioning. Flashing red: waiting for Wi-Fi connection. Solid blue: normal operation. Flashing blue: connecting.

Can I use the camera without the app?

No, the camera requires the Smart Life app for setup and use. Without the app, you cannot view the video stream or receive notifications.

How to clean the camera?

Unplug the camera and clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or abrasive products. Avoid moisture.

Is the warranty valid if I repair the device myself?

No, any attempt to repair or modify voids the warranty. Contact your retailer or a Luvion representative for any issues.

Can I add multiple cameras to the same account?

Yes, you can add multiple Luvion Smart Optics Mini cameras in the Smart Life app by repeating the device addition procedure. Each camera will be listed separately.

Thank you for purchasing the Luvion Smart Optics Mini baby monitor. From now on you can always see and hear your baby. Make sure you always keep your original proof of purchase. For warranty cases you will always be asked to show a copy of your proof of purchase. For warranty claims you can contact the Luvion dealer or the local Luvion representative. More information can be found at www.luvion.com. This manual contains all the information you need, to be able to use this Luvion Smart Optics baby monitor safely and with pleasure. Before using the baby monitor, we recommend that you read this manual carefully. We ask for your extra attention for the safety instructions.

• This device is designed for indoor use only.
• The units should not be exposed to rain or moisture.
• The units should not be exposed to direct heat sources.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of children's reach.
• This product contains small parts, take care when unpacking and assembling the product.
• Children can become entangled in the cords, therefore power cords should be kept more than 1 meter away from the crib and baby's reach at all times.
• The units should be only be used with the AC power adapter included in this package (rated 5V; 1.0A).
• Don't use the units if the cord or plug is damaged.
• Don't attempt to repair or adjust any of the electrical or mechanical functions of the unit. If you do, the guarantee will be made void.
• This product should not be used on or under surfaces that may block the ventilation openings.
• This product must not be placed in a enclosed area that may impede the air flow.

Attention!

• Make sure that the camera is within range of router during the registration.
• The camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.
• As standard, the sound and motion detection alarms are off; Make sure to activate the desired notifications immediately after installation.

SET UP/CAMERA INSTALLATION

1. Plug the included USB cable into the Luvion Smart Optics Mini Camera.
2. After the USB cable has been plugged into the included power adapter, insert the power adapter into a wall socket.
3. Make sure the router is set to 2.4GHz WiFi (the Luvion Smart Optics Mini doesn't work with 5GHz WiFi).
4. Make sure you have the SSID and password of your WiFi ready and that the Smart Optics Mini Camera and your smartphone are within range of the router.

CONNECTING WITH THE APP

Step 1 Search and download the 'Smart Life App' in Apple Store/Google Play Store or scan the QR code to download the app. Open the Smart Life app and Sign Up before use.

Step 2 Add device by pressing on the "+" icon in the upper right corner and choose "Security &

Video Surveillance and select "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)" as shown below.

Step 3 Check the box next to "make sure that the indicator is flashing or a prompt tone is heard" and press "Next" to connect with the Wi-Fi Network. If the indicator is not flashing, go to point 3 under 'set up/camera installation'.

Step 4 Select your own Wi-Fi Network and enter the password of your Wi-Fi network and then press 'Next'. Please note: this device only supports 2,4GHz networks.

Step 5 Scan the QR code with the camera. Make sure to keep a distance of 15 to 20 ~cm between the camera and the QR code shown in the App. If you heard a beep tone, press on "I heard a prompt".

Step 6 Once connected and paired successfully, you will be able to rename the device according to your preference. Please note: if you are unable to pair the camera with the App, please unplug the power adapter from the wall socket and retry by following again the steps in this manual.

Step 7 When paired successfully, you will be able to monitor the baby. Press on the upper right to activate detection alarms such as sound and motion detections, while using the camera.

Step 8 Please note: The camera device can only be registered to one account. Make sure you remove the device from the app before changing ownership. Press on the name of the device in the App and hold it for a few seconds. The screen to remove the device will then appear. In case you don't follow this step and the device has not been removed in the app yet, you will receive a notification when returning the device to the (online) store. This notification confirms that the device has been reset to its factory settings.
