1. Read and save these instructions. Attention: pictures in

2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

3. Children shall not play with the appliance.

4. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

5. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless

continuously supervised.

6. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only

switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

7. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very

hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

8. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.

27. Prior to every use, ensure that the appliance is

undamaged and in perfect condition. If the appliance is damaged, in particular housing, cord, or power plug, do not connect it to the mains.

28. If the appliance falls, the heating element (the plate

behind the guard inside the appliance) can break. Examine the heating element before every use. Do not continue to use the appliance if the heating element is broken.

INSTALLATION AND FIRST USE

Take the appliance out of the packaging and remove the protective bag. Take the appliance upside down. Attach the two feet onto the bottom of the appliance and fix with the provided screws. Insert the four small wheels into the two feet. Then place the appliance on an even, firm and clean surface, and observe the safety distance between the appliance and other objects. Always place the appliance with a sufficient safety distance to inflammable materials or gases. Ensure that housing, heating element, power cord and plug are not damaged. PARTS DESCRIPTION

4. Guard, interior heating element

Set the thermostat to the minimal position and insert the plug to the power supply. Turn the thermostat control clockwise all the way round until you hear a “click” sound, this sound indicates that the appliance is activated. Turn on the power setting switch to choose the setting 500W / 700W / 1200W. Turning the thermostat clockwise will always increase the set temperature; turning it anticlockwise will decrease the set temperature. The thermostat will automatically turn the heater on and off to keep the setting temperature. SAFETY SYSTEM The appliance has a safety system which automatically switches the unit off when overheated. If overheating occurs, switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the socket, and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes. Put the plug in the socket and switch on the heater. This heater is equipped with a tilt protection safety device. It has tilt protection safety functions and automatically switches off the power. For safety reasons, the unit will automatically switch off the power if it is put on unstable or uneven surfaces or if it is tilted accidentally. CLEANING Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning it! Ensure that it has cooled down completely. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp and clean cloth and dry it with a dry cloth afterwards.- 69 - Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals, only use mild detergents. Never disassemble the appliance for cleaning. Never rinse or spray the appliance with water. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
