OPERATION AND USE
1- Ensure that the area is well ventilated before performing a test.
2- Tester for 12 V batteries and systems for 12 & 24 V charging (Only 12 volt for START & STOP batteries)
3- Before running a test on the battery, make sure the ignition is off, the accessories are also off.
Close all the doors and the boot.
4- Recommended operating temperature: From 0°C (32°F) to 50°C (122°F)
5- Make sure the battery terminals are clean. If necessary, clean them using a wire brush.
⚠️ Any presence of oxidation between the tester terminals and the battery connectors or between the battery connectors and the battery terminals reduces the effectiveness of the tester.
6- Make sure that there is a 9 V Alkaline battery in the battery compartment (see diagram below).

7- Connect the negative (black) terminal to the negative terminal of the battery. Connect the positive plug (red) to the positive terminal of the battery.
To test a 24V system (2 x 12 V), test one battery at a time. The test procedure is identical to that of a 12V battery.
SETTING UP THE DEVICE
Access to the items is via the (X) keys and then confirm the selection with the OK key:
1- See results : Allows you to display all the test results performed.
2- Print : Function to print the results of previously saved tests.
3- Voltmeter : This function allows you to adjust the voltage display on the device's home page. By pressing «OPEN», the battery voltage shows on the home screen. By pressing «CLOSE», the battery voltage does not show on the home screen.
4- Thermometer : Displays the room temperature.
5- Thermometer unit : Allows the selection of the thermometer measurement unit (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
6- QC mode : By selecting «Reset», the QC mode erases all data recorded on the unit. Consequently, the display of results in «see results» will be deleted.
7- Customer entry code : this function allows you to activate or deactivate a customer entry code. Once the configuration is successful, the screen displays «OK».
8- Choose language : To change the language, scroll through the menu and press OK to confirm
9- Date and time format : Use the arrows to scroll through the different date and time presentations.
10- Date and time adjust : Use the arrows to change the year. Click on OK to confirm the year. Do the same procedure for the date and time.
11- User information : This function allows you to enter customer information (e.g. company name, reference number, telephone, etc.). This information is also displayed on the test ticket. To enter information, use the arrows and scroll through the letters/numbers, click OK and carry on.
BATTERY TEST
From the home screen, perform a quick test by pressing the back arrow. For a prolonged test :
- Press OK to start a test
- Choose between «INT vehicle» or «EXT vehicle» depending on the location of the battery (indoor or outdoor) then OK.
- Select «before charging» for a cold vehicle or «after charging» for a warm vehicle.
- Select the type of battery using the arrows
- Choose the battery standard (EN, CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, IEC, SAE, GB)
- Enter the starting current indicated on the battery («A»)

If the tester announces «replace battery» in «inside the vehicle» mode, remove the cable and test the battery a second time in «outside the vehicle» mode. Indeed, the vehicle cable may not be properly connected. If the result remains the same, replace the battery.
- After the test, to return to the menu, press BACK.
- After a test «outside the vehicle», press OK to print the result.
- After a «inside the vehicle» test, press OK to continue with the start test.
START-UP TEST
- Keep the power clamps connected to the battery
- Start the engine to start the test
- The test starts automatically and displays the starting voltage obtained

After the test, keep the engine running and press the OK button to continue with the alternator charging system test.
TEST OF THE ALTERNATOR CHARGING SYSTEM
- After the start test, press the OK button to access the alternator load test
- After the undulation test, the tester automatically starts the load voltage test
- Follow the instructions of the tester
- The tester indicates the state of the vehicle's charging voltage.

SEE THE RESULTS
This option allows you to review the results of the latest tests performed. Press «MENU» and then «see result» in the main menu. The data entered during the previous test is displayed. Press OK to display the latest test results.
PRINTING
- Go to «MENU» and select «Print».
- Several tests are recorded. Use the arrows to scroll through them.
- Select the test to be printed by pressing OK. The complete results are displayed.
- Press OK again to start printing.
- The tester shows «Print?», validate the printing by pressing OK or cancel by pressing the back button.

MAINTENANCE

WARRANTY
The warranty covers faulty workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase (parts and labour).
The warranty does not cover:
- Transit damage.
- Normal wear of parts (eg. : cables, clamps, etc..).
- Damages due to misuse (power supply error, dropping of equipment, disassembling).
- Environment related failures (pollution, rust, dust).
In case of failure, return the unit to your distributor together with:
- The proof of purchase (receipt etc ...)
- A description of the fault reported
