How to change the speed of my Bavaria BSM 850 E drill?

To change speed, make sure the device is stopped. Use switch 5 (Speed 1 - Speed 2) located on top of the motor. Position 1 for low speed (0-900 rpm) and position 2 for high speed (0-2700 rpm).

How to use the hammer function?

Turn rotary switch 4 to 'hammer drilling' position (hammer symbol) only when the drill is stopped. For drilling tiles or slabs, use 'drilling' position (drill symbol).

What is the maximum drilling diameter in concrete?

The maximum drilling capacity in concrete is 16 mm. For steel, it's 13 mm and for wood, 30 mm.

How to adjust the rotation speed?

The speed is electronically adjustable by pressing the on/off switch 9 more or less. You can also preselect a speed by turning the knurled screw located in the switch.

Can I use accessories other than drill bits?

No, according to the manual, the BSM 850 E is not intended for driving adaptable tools. Use only sharp drill bits and appropriate screwdriver bits.

How to clean my drill?
