Frequently Asked Questions - BPK335061M AEG

How to install the AEG BPK335061M oven?
Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. Respect the built-in dimensions: min. height 590 mm, width 560 mm, depth 550 mm. Ensure that the ventilation openings (560x20 mm) are not obstructed. The oven is heavy: use safety gloves and closed shoes when moving it.
What cooking modes are available?
The modes include: Fan-forced (cooking on 3 levels), Top/Bottom heat (traditional cooking), Frozen food, Pizza function, Bottom heat, Defrost, Moist fan-forced (energy saving), Grill, Turbo grill, and Assisted cooking with predefined programs.
How to use pyrolytic cleaning?
Before pyrolytic, remove all accessories and excessive food residues. Select the Cleaning menu and choose the duration: C1 (1h, light), C2 (1h30, normal) or C3 (2h30, thorough). The oven heats to a high temperature to burn off dirt. The door locks automatically. After cooling, wipe the ashes with a damp cloth.
What to do if the oven does not heat up?
First check that the appliance is properly plugged in and the fuse has not tripped. Make sure the door is fully closed. Check that the automatic switch-off is not activated (if you do not change the settings, the oven turns off after a certain time). Disable the lock if necessary. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
How to set the oven clock?
Access the Settings menu then Current time. Use the control knob to set the time and press OK to confirm. If the display shows '00:00' after a power cut, set the time again.
Can I use aluminum molds in this oven?
Yes, you can use aluminum molds. Avoid placing aluminum foil directly on the oven floor to prevent damage to the enamel. For dishes with acidic juices (fruit), use a roasting pan to avoid permanent stains.
How to maintain the oven door?
The door has three removable glass panels. To clean them, remove the door as indicated in the manual: open it fully, lift the latches, then close it halfway to release it. Dismantle the trim and take out the glass panes one by one. Clean with soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not put the glass panes in the dishwasher.
What is the power consumption of the oven?
The energy consumption with a standard load is 0.93 kWh/cycle in conventional mode and 0.69 kWh/cycle in fan-forced mode. The energy class is A+. Use the Moist fan-forced function to save more energy.
What to do if the lighting does not work?
First check if the Moist fan-forced function is activated (the lighting turns off automatically after 30 seconds). If the bulb is blown, replace it with a halogen bulb resistant to 300°C (specific type, see manual). Disconnect the oven before any intervention and use a cloth to handle the bulb.
How to activate the child lock?
Press and hold the lock button until a beep sounds. The lock prevents any changes to the settings. To deactivate, press and hold the button again. The symbol flashes 3 times when the lock is active.
