Water resistance is indicated in bar according to DIN 8310 standard. 5 bar (50 meters) allows swimming and 3 bar (30 meters) is splash-resistant. Water resistance is not permanent: an annual check is recommended.

1. To set the time, pull the crown 2 out to the 2nd position 6.
2. Turn the crown 2 to set the hour and minute hands 1, 4.

The bezel 8 is used to indicate a period of time (e.g. jogging time). The amount of time elapsed can be read easily from the bezel.

Note: The segments that can be removed are marked with an arrow. They are connected together with pins. The pins can be pushed out in the direction of the arrow.
