Dear Client, Congratulations for choosing one of our quality products. Please follow these instructions carefully and keep them with you. Repel rodents through vibrations – no chemicals, no ground pollution!

1. Product description

This vole repeller device is one of the new generation of repellers! It generates quartz vibrations in approx. 25 sec intervals within a frequency range of 400 Hz ± 50 Hz. Outdoor test showed that these specially generated vibrations have an optimum effective area of approx. 700 m², depending on condition of soil. Since rodents cannot stand these quartz vibrations they move to other areas within a few days. In some cases moles initially respond defiantly to the deployment of the device by increasing their digging activity and creating additional molehills. This is a natural reaction. But since the emitted oscillations and vibrations are unbearable for rodents in the long term, they permanently migrate to other regions after a few days or weeks. Other useful animals are not harmed. The Solar Vole Repeller can be used in the garden, in the field or in other outdoor areas with unwanted rodents. The finely tuned electronic components and the efficient solar modules guarantee constant function even with poor light. This appliance not only repels voles, but also moles and ants!

2. Installation and maintenance

Dig the device into the ground up to ¾ of the Solar Vole Repeller. Remove the plastic foil in the transparent part of head of the product before using. To turn it on, press the button at the bottom of the casing. PLEASE MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED BEFORE USING THE DEVICE FOR THE FIRST TIME. WITH THE DEVICE TURNED OFF, PLACE IT INTO THE GROUND FOR ABOUT 12 HOURS IN THE SUN BEFORE USE. Check the function of the device regularly. In case it does not work normally any more, a replacement of the rechargeable battery might be necessary (see point 3).Installation suggestion (see drawing): Place the repeller in such a position that animals will have the possibility to flee from your land. After about 5-6 weeks the device/s should be moved approximately 4-5 metres in the direction of the escape route.

ATTENTION: Never stick the device directly into the hill. If you are using several devices, never install them in the corners of the plot; you then contain the animals in the middle and block their possible escape routes. Start repelling the animals directly at the house and work your way toward the property boundaries. In very dry and hard soil, drill a hole in the ground and compact the soil around the rod. Look out for underground barriers, such as pipes, foundations, edges and borders, and concrete slabs! These barriers reduce the spreading of the frequency waves and their effectiveness.

3. Replacement of the rechargeable battery

1. Remove the transparent housing cover.

2. Carefully take off the solar panel from the rechargeable battery which is

underneath. When doing so, make sure that the cable connection between the solar panel and the circuit board which is underneath the rechargeable battery, is left intact and is not damaged.

3. Remove the old rechargeable battery from its fitting.

4. Insert a new rechargeable battery size Mignon (AA) and type Ni-MH with 1.2 V

and 850 mA. When doing so, mind the correct polarity as shown on the bottom inside the battery fitting.

5. Carefully place the solar panel back on the rechargeable battery. Pay attention

that the two cable of the solar panel will not conducted above the batteries for closing the casing in the right way.

6. Reattach the transparent casing cover to the casing body.4. Technical data

5. Attention: Important battery notice

• Instructions for battery disposal: Batteries are subject to legal provisions. After use they must therefore be returned to the point of sale or to a collecting point of public facilities for harmful substances. Batteries may never be disposed as household waste, in the yellow sack or other. Dispose of batteries only when completely discharged into a waste batteries collecting container and take precautions against short circuit (e.g. by masking the poles).

6. General information

Important: Damage caused by not adhering to the operating instructions is not covered by guarantee. ISOTRONIC accepts no liability whatsoever for any resulting consequent damages. - Only operate the device at its intended voltage. - In case of repairs, only use original spare parts, to avoid serious damage. - Repairs or other works, e.g. changing a fuse, etc. may only be carried out by an appropriately trained, skilled person. - It must be noted that operator or connecting errors lie outside the influence of ISOTRONIC and we cannot accept any liability for resulting damages. - Always check whether the device is suitable for the respective place where you intend using it.8. Guarantee We grant a two year guarantee for this device. Guarantee includes repair of all defects that were not caused by defective material or fabrication mistakes. Guarantee does not apply on wearing parts (for example rechargeable batteries) and damage caused by not adhering to the operating instructions is not covered by guarantee either. ISOTRONIC accepts no liability whatsoever for any resulting consequent damages. Since ISOTRONIC has no influence on correct and appropriate assemblage and operation it is obvious that guarantee applies only on completeness and proper condition. ISOTRONIC takes on neither liability nor guarantee for damages or consequential damages in connection with this product. This applies especially when the device was altered or repaired, when circuits were changed or non-original spare parts were used or when damage was caused by false or negligent operation or abuse. Environmental protection notice At the end of its life span this product may not be disposed as normal household waste but must be disposed of at a collecting place for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The icon on the product, in the manual, or on the packing points to this fact. The materials are recyclable according to their labelling.
