Product description The ULTRASONIC XL 800 is an effective repellent of mice, rats and other pesky animals and pests. Laboratory analyses have shown that the ultrasonic waves affect the auditory and nervous systems of most common pests, causing them discomfort. At about 95 dB +/- 10% the sound pressure causes the pests and vermin to abandon their search for food, water and shelter and move on. In addition, the bright built-in LED light of the ULTRASONIC XL 800 frightens the animals at night and causes them to flee. Putting into operation Connect the included power adapter to the USB port on the back of the unit and turn it on using the switch. The ULTRASONIC XL 800 has a continuously variable frequency. We recommend the following settings (rotary switch from the left to the right) to repel the following: Mosquitoes, fleas: 5-7 kHz Spiders: 10-15 kHz Mice, rats, marten, dormice: 12-25 kHz Doves, birds, cats, dogs: 20-40 kHz Raccoons, foxes, hares, wild boars: 30-45 kHz Mites, bedbugs: 40-42 kHz Bats: 110 kHz Depending on the species, ambient noise can alter the necessary repellent frequency. For this, please change the frequency at will to identify which frequency is the most effective. You will notice the effect of the ULTRASONIC XL 800 after a few days. The activity of rodents will stop over time, other animals will avoid their usual living and sleeping habitats. Leave the ULTRASONIC XL 800 inoperation for effective year-round control. Using hazardous chemicals or disposing of dead animals is no longer necessary. Note Do not place the ULTRASONIC XL 800 behind furniture, curtains or other objects as they will absorb the sound waves. Do not hold the ULTRASONIC XL 800 against your ear when you test it.

1. Remove the housing cover by loosening the 6 screws.

2. Remove the old batteries.

3. Insert four new rechargeable batteries of size Mignon (AA) 850mA

NiMh. Make sure that the polarity is correct as shown on the inside at the bottom of the battery holder.

4. Replace the cover and retighten the screws.

Only use rechargeable batteries or operate the device using the USB adapter. Non-rechargeable batteries may not be charged. General information
