How to assemble the grinding block?

Insert the screw (long shaft first) into the grinding block. Place the blade on the short shaft, sharp edges facing outward. Put the chosen plate aligning the tabs with the notches. Tighten the nut fully without forcing. Check that the shaft turns freely.

How to use the reverse function?

In case of jamming, stop the appliance (position 0), open the door, press the 'reverse' switch for a few seconds to clear the food, then restart after closing the door.

What is the maximum continuous operating time?

Do not use the appliance for more than 14 minutes continuously. For recipes requiring high power (approx. 800 W), do not exceed 30 seconds.

How to clean the grinder?

Unplug the appliance. Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth. Wash the other parts (screw, blade, plates, nut, accessories) in hot water with detergent. Do not put the grinding block in the dishwasher. After washing, grease the blade and plates with cooking oil.

Can I grind bones or cartilage?

No, remove all bones, cartilage and sinews before grinding. Cut the meat into pieces of about 2x2 cm to avoid damaging the appliance.

How to use the sausage attachment?

Assemble the sausage tube without plate or blade. Tighten the nut. Soak the casing in warm water, slide it onto the tube. Place the mince on the tray and push with the pusher. Stop to tie a knot, then continue.

What to do if the grinder jams?

Stop the appliance, unplug it, then use the Reverse function (see question 2). If the jam persists, disassemble the grinding block, remove the stuck food and reassemble correctly.

How to store accessories?

Store the accessories in the compartments provided under the rear door of the appliance. The cord can be wound under the appliance.

Can I use the appliance for preparations other than meat?

Yes, the purée and juice attachment allows you to make fruit purées and vegetable juices. Use the appropriate filter and follow the instructions in the manual.

Why should the plates and blade be greased?

The plates and blade are not stainless steel. Greasing them after each cleaning with cooking oil prevents rust and ensures optimal operation.

Use

Before using for the first time, washallaccessorieswithsoapywaterandwipedrycarefully.

The grill and the knife need to be kept oiled. Coat them with oil.

Do not use your appliance empty, if the grill and the knife are not oiled.

Assembling the chopping unit

• Introduce the screw (6) (long shaft first) into the chopping unit (5).
• Position the blade (7) on the short shaft of the screw setting the cutting edgesfacingoutsideonthegridside.
• Place the selected grid (8) on the blade and slot the two lugs into the twoslotsoftheunit.
• Screwinthenut(9) fullywithoutsticking.
• Checkassembly.Theaxismustneitherbeloosenorstickinrotation. Iflooseorstuck,repeatassemblyoperations.

Fitting the chopping unit on the appliance

Makesuretheapplianceisswitchedoffatthemainsorunplugged.

• Tiltthechoppingunittotheright.
- Fullyengagethechoppingunitintothemotorunitandturntotheleft, thenengagethetray.
- Closethedoor.
- Plugintheappliance.

Chopping

• Preparetheingredientstobechopped,firstremovingbones,cartilage andsinews.
- Cutthemeatintopieces(about2x2cm)andplacethemonthefeeder tray.
- Formaximumefficiency, cutthepiecestoasmallersizethanthe funnel.
- Putabowlunderthechoppingunit.
- Settheswitchontherearoftheapplianceto"I".
- Introducethepiecesofmeatintothecchoppingunitandpushinusing thepusher(2) ifnecessary.Never push using your fingers.
- Do not use your appliance for more than 14 minutes at a time.

If clogging occurs:

• Settheswitchtothe“0” positiontostopthechoppingunit.
• Opentheaccessorystoragedoor.
• Press the "reverse" switch to release the food and then close the door and start again using them a switch to finish chopping.

IMPORTANT: Wait for the appliance to come to a complete stop before pressing switches.

Note : Some recipes require high power (about 800 W). For such recipes, do not operate for more than 30 seconds at a time.

Example: Purée of split peas with beef bacon or lamb.

Ingredients: 100 g of beef bacon or lamb - 150 g raw split peas - 100 g flour - 50 ml water - 20 g garlic - salt - pepper - olive oil.

• Mix the split peas and flour in a bowl then gradually blend with water to obtain a uniform mix.
• Putthismixtureintothechoppingunitfeedertray.
• Starttheapplianceandgraduallypushthemixintothetubeusingthepusher.
• Thenintroducethebeefbaconorlambcutintopieces2cmx2cmwiththegarlic.
• Pour this mixture into a stewpot containing 1.5 litres of water. Mix and leave to cook for about 20 to 30 min.
• Mixalltheingredientstogetheraftercookingandadd5clofoliveoil.

The chopping unit is protected by a mechanical fuse built into the axis of the screw (6). Read the instructions forchoppingdifferenttypesoffoodbeforeusingthechoppingunittoavoidoverloadingorclogging.

Dismantling your appliance

Switchoffandunplugtheapplianceafteruse.

• Press the release button (4) located on the front panel of the appliance.
  • Turnthechoppingunittotheright.
  • Fullyreleasetheunitandpullout.
• Unscrewthenutfromthechoppingunitandremovetheaccessoriesbypushingontheaxis.
• Unplugtheappliancebeforecleaningandbeforeremovingthevariousaccessories.
• Neverimmersethemotorunitinwater.Cleanitusingadampcloth.
  Allotherpartscanbewashedinhotwaterusingwashingupliquid.Neverusescouringproducts.
• The blade and chopping unit grids are not stainless steel. You are advised to coat them with cooking oil aftereachcleaning.
• Do not put the chopping head (including the chopping unit (5), screw (6), blade (7), the grid (8) and nut (9) intothedishwasher

Use :

• Preparethesausagemeatandseasontotaste.
- Soak the casing in water so it regains elasticity then thread it onto the tube (10).
- Put the sausage meat into the feeder tray, start up the appliance and press the meat down using the pusher to keepitfeeding toward the end of the tube.

PUREE AND JUICE ACCESSORY

Thisaccessoryisusedtomakeupurées(softfruit,tomatoes)andjuices(apples,pears,oranges,etc.). Itfitsontothechoppingunit(5).

Assembly:

• Install the chopping unit (5) on the motor unit (1 making sure that the seal (E) is in place.).
• Insert the screw (A) into the chopping unit (5).
• Positiontheappropriatefilterforyourpreparation: -(B),variable-holefilter,forpurées, -or(C),small-holefilter,forjuices.
• Screwthescrewintothechoppingunit(5).
• Position the juice guide (D) under the installed filter (B or C).

Use:

•Purée :

Usefilter(B) whichhas2filtrationholediametersforbetterextraction.

Only fresh fruit should be used when making apurée. Depending on these season and the quality of the fruit, the pulp should be filtered as second timeto extract as much purée as possible.

- Juice:

Usefilter(C) which has a single filtration diameter.

Place one receptacle under the juice guide (D) to catch the juice and another at the end of the filter (B or C) to catch waste.

Oncetheaccessoriesareinstalled,yourappliancecanbeusedasusual.

Cleaning:

Allpartsshouldbecleanedwithhotwaterunderthetapusingwashingupliquid.Neveruseabrasive products.Thefiltersareeasytoclean,usingthebrush(F)supplied(bottlebrushtype).

CAUTION: The parts must not be washed in a dishwasher.
