What is the maximum capacity of the multifunction bowl?

The maximum capacity of the multifunction bowl is 1.2 liters.

Can I blend hot foods in the blender?

No, never fill the blender with ingredients above 60°C.

How do I use the Pulse function?

Set the speed control knob to the P (Pulse) position for pulsed operation, ideal for crushing ice or blending hard foods.

Can I wash the multifunction bowl in the dishwasher?

No, the multifunction bowl and blender are not dishwasher safe. Wash them by hand.

What if the appliance does not start?

Check that the multifunction bowl and lockable lid are properly assembled. The appliance only operates if these parts are in place.

How do I chop meat with this appliance?

Use the chopping knife (ref. 9). Cut the meat into pieces, place in the multifunction bowl and select the P (Pulse) position for about 10 seconds for 300 g.

Can I use the appliance to knead dough?

Yes, use the kneading knife (ref. 10). For 500 g flour and 360 g water, use speed 1 for about 4 minutes.

Are the blades sharp?

Yes, the blades of the chopping knife and discs are very sharp. Do not touch them with bare hands and store the chopping knife in its case after drying.

What is the power of the appliance?

The power is 1000 W.

How do I grate vegetables?

Use the grating discs (fine or coarse). Cut vegetables into pieces suitable for the feed chute and select a slow speed (1) for soft ingredients.

1 Important safety and environmental instructions

This section contains safety instructions that will help protect from risk of personal injury or material damage.

Failure to follow these instructions voids any granted warranty.

1.1 General safety

• This appliance complies with international safety standards.
• This appliance can be used by people who have limited physical, sensory or mental capacity or who do not have knowledge and experience, provided that they are supervised or they understand the instructions with regard to safe use of the product and potential dangers. Children should not play with the appliance.

- This appliance cannot be used by children. Cleaning and maintenance works should not be performed by children.

- Keep the appliance and the power cable out of the reach of children.

- Do not use it if the power cable, blades or the appliance itself is damaged. Contact an authorised service.

• Only use the original parts or parts recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not attempt to dismantle the appliance.
• Your mains power supply should comply with the information supplied on the rating plate of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance with an extension cable.
• Do not pull the power cable when unplugging the appliance.
• Unplug the appliance when left unattended and wait for it to stop completely while installing/removing accessories or before cleaning.
• Do not touch the plug of the appliance with damp or wet hands.
• Do not use the device for hot food.
• Do not operate the appliance without the ingredients in the bowl.
• Remove bones and stones from food to prevent the blades and the appliance from getting damaged.
• This appliance is not suitable for dry or hard foods as this will quickly cause the blades to become dull.

1 Important safety and environmental instructions

• Follow all warnings to prevent injuries due to incorrect use.
• When emptying the container, during cleaning and grabbing chopping blades with bare hands serious injuries could result due to incorrect use. Use the plastic section trying to hold the chopping blade.
  • After cleaning, dry the appliance and all parts before connecting it to mains supply and before attaching the parts.
• Do not immerse the appliance, power cable, or power plug in water or any other liquids.
• Do not operate or place any part of this appliance or its parts on or near hot surfaces.
• If you keep the packaging materials, store them out of the reach of children.

1.2 Compliance with the WEEE Directive and Disposing of the Waste Product:

This product complies with EU WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU). This product bears a classification symbol for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

This product has been manufactured with high quality parts and materials which can be reused and are suitable for recycling. Do not dispose of the waste product with normal domestic and other wastes at the end of its service life. Take it to the collection center for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Please consult your local authorities to learn about these collection centers.

1.3 Compliance with RoHS Directive

The product you have purchased complies with EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU). It does not contain harmful and prohibited materials specified in the Directive.

1.4 Package information

Packaging materials of the product are manufactured from recyclable materials in accordance with our National Environment Regulations. Do not dispose of the packaging materials together with the domestic or other wastes. Take them to the packaging material collection points designated by the local authorities.

2 Operation

2.1 Intended use

• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial purposes.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• It has been designed only for chopping and blending food.

2.2 Chopping and blending

Warnings

• Do not operate the appliance when empty.
  • Maximum blending capacity of the processing bowl (4) is 1.2 litres.
  • Maximum blending capacity of the blender (16) is 1 litre.
• Do not overload the product.

The product will not run unless the processing bowl (4) and the lockable cover (3) are fitted correctly.

Warnings

• When the chopping blade (9) is not in use, keep it in the plastic blade sheath.
• Never touch blade tips with bare hands.

2.3. Dough kneading

2 Operation

2.4 Whisker

• Do not use the whisker (11) when preparing batters that contain margarine or fat, or when kneading dough. Use the dough blade (10) for the said processes.
• When whisking egg whites, make sure that the bowl (4) and the whisker (11) are dry and oil-free.
• It is recommended to use the product at high speed when making mayonnaise and cream.

2.5 Grating and slicing

Warnings

• Do not use the blades (12, 14) to crash ice etc.
• Cutting edges of the blades (12, 14) are very sharp. Do not touch with bare hands.

• If the ingredient is too big for the feeding chute (2), cut it into a few pieces.
• Feed them evenly into the chute (2) to get good results.
• If you are going to use a large amount of ingredients, start with small amounts and then empty the bowl (4) after each session.
• When chopping or grating soft ingredients, operate the product at low speed to avoid pureeing the ingredient.
• Do not operate the product for too long when grating hard cheese. Otherwise, cheese will heat up, melt and clump.

2 Operation

2.6 Blender

With the blender jar (16):

• You can mix dairy products, juices, soups and shakes,
• Prepare soft things such as crepe batter and mayonnaise,
• Puree cooked food, e.g. baby food.

Warnings

• Do not apply too much pressure on the handle of the jar (16).
• Never fill the jar (16) with ingredients with a temperature of over 60°C.
  • After using twice, wait for the product to cool down to the room temperature.

• To crash ice cubes, set the speed adjustment button to P(Pulse) (6).
  • You can add some water to blend ingredients like fruit.
• When blending soup, use cooked ingredients. If you cannot get the desired result, set the speed adjustment button (6) to P(Pulse) and operate the product for a few times with short cycles.
• When processing frothing ingredients such as milk, do not fill the jar (16) to over 500 ml to avoid overflowing.

Warnings

• Do not run the blender jar (16) when empty.
• Cut the ingredients into little pieces before feeding them into the jar (16).
• Do not exceed the maximum capacity (1 litre).
• When the product is not working, you can add ingredients from the upper side of the blender.
• Switch off the product and use a spatula to clean the ingredients on the walls of the jar (16).
• While the blender (16) is running, do not put your hands or tools (spatula etc.) in it.

3 Information

3.1 Cleaning and care

It is recommended to clean the appliance right after using it.

Warnings

• Never use gasoline, solvents or abrasive cleaning agents, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.
• Do not leave the attachments in the blender for a long time.
• Do not wash any of the accessories in the dishwasher.
• Never wash the processing bowl (4) or the jar (16) in the dishwasher.
• Be careful when washing the chopping (9) and slicing (12) blades. They may cause injuries since they are sharp.
  • After drying the chopping blade (9), keep in the blade sheath.

3.2 Storage

• If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully.
• Make sure the appliance is unplugged, cooled down and completely dry.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
• Store it in a cool, dry place.
• Make sure the appliance is always kept out of the reach of children.

3.3 Handling and transportation

• During handling and transportation, carry the appliance in its original packaging. The packaging of the appliance protects it against physical damages.
• Do not place heavy loads on the appliance or the packaging. The appliance may be damaged.
• Dropping the appliance will render it non-operational or cause permanent damage.
