How to insert batteries into MICW43 transmitter?

Open the battery compartment cover (reference 4) and insert 2 R6 (LR6C) batteries respecting the indicated polarity. Preferably use new alkaline batteries.

How to select a channel on the MICW43?

Turn on the transmitter. Press the SET button to access the menu, select [disp] with ▲ or ▼, then wait 2-3 seconds. Choose the channel menu [channel] with ▲ or ▼ and press SET again. Unlock the settings [loc off] if necessary, then select the desired channel with ▲ or ▼ and confirm with SET.

How to adjust the frequency on the MICW43?

Press SET to access the menu, select [disp] with ▲ or ▼, wait 2-3 seconds, then choose the frequency menu [fyegu] (or similar). Press SET, unlock if necessary ([loc off]), then adjust the frequency with ▲ or ▼ and confirm with SET.

Why is my microphone not working?

Check that the transmitter is on (switch in ON position), that the batteries are correctly inserted and sufficiently charged. Make sure the receiver is on the same channel/frequency as the transmitter. Keep the transmitter at least 1 m away from walls.

How to lock or unlock the settings?

In the menu, after selecting [channel] or [fyegu], wait 2-3 seconds. The screen displays [loc on] or [loc off]. Use ▲ or ▼ to choose [loc off] (unlocked) or [loc on] (locked), then press SET to confirm.

What batteries to use for the MICW43?

Use new alkaline batteries of type R6 (LR6C) 1.5 V. Used or rechargeable batteries may reduce range and signal quality.

• Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks, crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
• Make sure there is no flammable material within a 0.5m radius of the device.
• Only operate or transport the device at temperatures within the range +5^ C +35^ C .

5. Operation

Preparing the Transmitter for Use

Open the battery compartment and insert 2x AA batteries (order code LR6C, not incl.) respecting the polarity. Insert the plug of the optional microphone (order code MICW44 or MICW45, not incl.) into the input jack.

Channel Selection

Switch on the transmitter by sliding the power switch to ON. Press SET and select the display menu [disp]. Wait 2 to 3 seconds and select the channel menu (channel) using or . Press SET again to enter the menu. You will see next display.

Wait 2 to 3 seconds. Next, you will be given the choice to lock [loc on] or to unlock [locoff] the transmitter's settings. Choose [locoff] using or . Press SET again to enter the menu. Choose your channel using or and press SET again to confirm.

Frequency Selection

Press SET and select the display menu [disp]. Wait 2 to 3 seconds and select the frequency menu [fyegu] using or . Press SET again to enter the menu. You will see next display.

Wait 2 to 3 seconds. Next, you will be given the choice to lock [loc on] or to unlock [locoff] the transmitter's settings. Choose [locoff] using or . Press SET again to enter the menu. Choose your frequency using or and press SET again to confirm.

NOTE: By selecting [loc on], you will lock the transmitter's settings.

6. Important Remarks

• Keep the transmitter 1m above the ground and 1m away from walls for the best results.
• Turn off your device before changing the batteries.
• Never open the transmitter's housing.
• Make sure to match the frequency or the channel on your receiver and your microphone / transmitter.
• Use only fresh alkaline batteries as partially drained batteries may cause weak signal reception.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

• Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
• There are no user-serviceable parts.
• Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.

1. Inleiding

Since its foundation in 1972, Velleman® acquired extensive experience in the electronics world and currently distributes its products in over 85 countries.

All our products fulfil strict quality requirements and legal stipulations in the EU. In order to ensure the quality, our products regularly go through an extra quality check, both by an internal quality department and by specialized external organisations. If, all precautionary measures notwithstanding, problems should occur, please make appeal to our warranty (see guarantee conditions).

General Warranty Conditions Concerning Consumer Products (for EU):

• All consumer products are subject to a 24-month warranty on production flaws and defective material as from the original date of purchase.

• Velleman® can decide to replace an article with an equivalent article, or to refund the retail value totally or partially when the complaint is valid and a free repair or replacement of the article is impossible, or if the expenses are out of proportion.

You will be delivered a replacing article or a refund at the value of 100% of the purchase price in case of a flaw occurred in the first year after the date of purchase and delivery, or a replacing article at 50% of the purchase price or a refund at the value of 50% of the retail value in case of a flaw occurred in the second year after the date of purchase and delivery.

Not covered by warranty:

• all direct or indirect damage caused after delivery to the article (e.g. by oxidation, shocks, falls, dust, dirt, humidity...), and by the article, as well as its contents (e.g. data loss), compensation for loss of profits;

• consumable goods, parts or accessories that are subject to an aging process during normal use, such as batteries (rechargeable, non-rechargeable, built-in or replaceable), lamps, rubber parts, drive belts... (unlimited list);

• flaws resulting from fire, water damage, lightning, accident, natural disaster, etc....:

• flaws caused deliberately, negligently or resulting from improper handling, negligent maintenance, abusive use or use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions;

• damage caused by a commercial, professional or collective use of the article (the warranty validity will be reduced to six (6) months when the article is used professionally);

• damage resulting from an inappropriate packing and shipping of the article;

• all damage caused by modification, repair or alteration performed by a third party without written permission by Velleman®.

• Articles to be repaired must be delivered to your Velleman® dealer, solidly packed (preferably in the original packaging), and be completed with the original receipt of purchase and a clear flaw description.

• Hint: In order to save on cost and time, please reread the manual and check if the flaw is caused by obvious causes prior to presenting the article for repair. Note that returning a non-defective article can also involve handling costs.

• Repairs occurring after warranty expiration are subject to shipping costs.

• The above conditions are without prejudice to all commercial warranties.
