What type of water should I use in the tank?

Use only clean demineralized water, preferably boiled and cooled, to prevent limescale deposits. Never add chemicals or oils.

How to set the timer?

Press the TIMER button (C) when the appliance is on. Each press increases the duration in 2-hour increments, up to a maximum of 12 hours. The 2H, 4H, 6H lights will light accordingly.

Can I use ice cubes in the tank?

Yes, the tank has a compartment for ice blocks. Fill the blocks with water, freeze them, then place them in the tank for more intense cooling in COOL mode.

How to clean the dust filter?

Unlock the filter at the top of the appliance, gently remove it and wash it under running water. Dry it before putting it back. Never operate the appliance without the filter.

What if the appliance does not turn on?

Check that the power cord is properly connected and the outlet works. Ensure the tank has enough water (between Min and Max). If the problem persists, contact authorized service.

What is the 'Natural' mode for?

The Natural mode (indicated by the flashing G4 light) simulates a natural breeze by automatically varying the fan speed. The Night mode (steady light) runs at low speed for quiet operation.

How to disable oscillation?

Press the OSCILLATION button (D) once to activate, a second time to deactivate. The SWING light (G6) turns off when oscillation is stopped.

Can I use the appliance without water?

No, the appliance is designed to operate with water. In cooling mode, it uses evaporation. Even in simple fan mode, it is not recommended to use it without water to avoid damaging the pad.

How to store the appliance in winter?

Empty and thoroughly clean the tank and the pad. Let them dry completely. Store the appliance in a dry place, away from dust, preferably in its original packaging.

Where to find spare parts?

Contact Ardes authorized service or an authorized dealer to obtain parts such as the filter, cooling pad, or remote control. Only use original parts.
