1. Warnings & contraindications

This user manual is based on the standards and rules in force in the European Union. When abroad, you must also observe country-specic guidelines and laws. In such cases, stop using the device and contact Customer Service. C Only authorized personnel are permitted to perform repairs. Do not attempt to repair or open sealed parts of your device. You may expose yourself to dangerous components and cause serious harm to yourself. It will also void your warranty. C The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or injuries caused by improper or incorrect use. C Keep the adapter away from water. The adapter is not waterproof. C Always ensure that your hands are dry before connecting the adapter to the electricity supply. C Do not place or store the adapter where it can fall or be pulled into a tub, sink, water or any other liquid. C Do not reach for the adapter if is has fallen into water. Unplug immediately before retrieving it. Failure to unplug the adapter may result in an electric shock! C Never use the adapter if it has a damaged cable or plug, it isn’t working properly, or has been submerged in water. If that happens, unplug the adapter immediately. C Never pull the adapter out of the socket by the cable. Always remove it by taking hold of the adapter. C Place the adapter cable in such a way that it does not pose a tripping hazard. C Do not kink the adapter cable and do not lay it over sharp edges. C Do not leave the device submerged in bath or shower water for more than 20 minutes. C If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If necessary, rinse the aected areas with water and seek medical assistance. C Do not clean the device or any of its parts in the dishwasher. C Do not dispose with household waste! C The battery is to be disposed of safely. C Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal. Don’t throw used batteries in a dustbin. Please contact your retailer in order to protect the environment. Battery Removal To remove the battery, the device must be broken apart. The device will no longer function after this procedure, nor can it be repaired. Any warranty will be void when the appliance housing is broken and the battery is removed. It is strongly recommended to wear safety protective goggles and gloves. Silk'n is not liable for any physical or material damages as a result of performing this procedure. To remove the battery place the device on a hard, strong surface. Use a hammer to hit the appliance on the seam and continue to do so along the whole seam on both sides of the device. Once the seam is suciently broken, use pliers or a screwdriver to take the housing apart. Unscrew the PCB (printed circuit board) and remove the battery by disconnecting the plug from the PCB. Contraindications C This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. 2. Safety with Silk'n Pure (Deluxe)

Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) has been tested for water ingress to the extent covered by IPX7. This means your device is waterproof and suitable for use in the shower or while taking a bath, but do not leave it submerged in water for more than 20 minutes. The device also has an overcharge protection. This means that you can safely leave the adapter in the device even if it is connected to the electricity supply, without the risk of damage.

3. Get to know Silk'n Pure (Deluxe)

This user manual refers to both Silk'n Pure and Silk'n Pure Deluxe.Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) eectively cleanses the skin and removes the outer layer of dry and aky skin cells. It lifts out impurities from within the pores as well as any build-up of debris from within the folds of ne lines and wrinkles. The device uses vibrations to help smooth the skin's surface, and massages your skin to improve blood circulation. Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) removes up to 6 times more makeup than manual cleansing, leaving your skin clean, smooth and soft.Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) is an electrical device and should be used with special attention to safety. Before use, it is important that you read and understand the instructions on how to use the device including after-use procedures, and follow them strictly. Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) is a small, hand-held, electrically powered skin cleanser. Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) is an over the counter device intended for cleansing your face and neck, and massaging your skin. Do not use for any purpose other than as described in this manual.

Before rst use, your device needs to be fully charged. For best results, charge your Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) for 6 hours before using it for the rst time, even if there is some residual charge left in the device as a result of quality control procedures.1. For your safety, make sure the device is completely dry before charging. 2. Connect the adapter to the device and the electricity supply.

3. When charging, the charging light is red and blinks continously. When fully

charged, the charging light is constant red. If you are charging for the rst time but the charging light is constant red, you still need to charge the device for 3 hours.

4. We recommend you unplug the device and store the adapter after each full

We recommend you charge the device fully at least every 3 months to sustain battery life. C Do not attach wet brush heads when charging the device.

4.2 Indicator lights and function settings

Your Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) is easy to use and has one control button and one indicator light. For daily use, but not more than twice a day. We recommend cleansing in these areas: forehead, nose, chin, cheeks and neck. The recommended treatment time is 10 seconds per area. Silk'n Pure (Deluxe) is designed to cleanse your skin in just 1 minute. We recommend that you do not to exceed this time. 1. Select the brush head suitable for your skin type. Gently push the brush head onto the brush attachment point, until you hear a click. 2. Dampen your face with lukewarm water.3. Moisten the brush head with lukewarm water and apply the face wash of your choice onto the brush head. C Do not use a dry brush head on the face or neck, because it may cause skin irritation.

4. Press the control button to turn on the device. The device automatically starts in

the low speed vibration mode.5. To select the desired mode, keep pressing the control button to cycle through the modes (see section "4.2 Indicator lights and function settings").

6. Gently press the brush head against your skin and move it in an upward circular

motion. There's no need to apply any pressure. a Try to avoid delicate skin areas such as around the eyes or lips.

7. To nish, rinse your skin with water, and pat dry with a towel.

The device is set to switch o automatically after 1 minute. However, if you change modes during a treatment, the timer will reset to zero and will start again.

6.1 Silk'n Pure Deluxe accessories

In addition to the handy travel case and face wash travel bottle, Silk'n Pure Deluxe includes two additional treatment accessories. Both are suitable for daily use. The Face Massage brush head improves blood circulation and cleanses the skin mildly, leaving your skin fresher and brighter. Follow the steps in section "6. Get started!" The Eye Massage brush head helps reduce puness and dark circles around the eyes. To use this accessory, follow these steps:1. Cleanse your face and make sure the skin is clean and dry. 2. Place the metal part on the area underneath your eyes and then slide from left to right. Do this for 30 seconds to a 1 minute in one area. You can also use it with your favourite eye serum, lotion or cream. Use warm water up to a maximum of 45ºC / 113º F.

7.1 Cleaning the brush heads

Clean the Regular and/or Soft brush head(s) after each use. Make sure the device is switched o. Rinse with warm water and mild soap to remove any build-up that may have accumulated. Then shake o any excess water.

Dry the brush head with a clean cloth. You can also dry the brush head by switching the device back on, and rubbing it against a clean cloth for 5-10 seconds. For hygienic reasons, we recommend you replace used brush heads every 3 months, or earlier if you see that they are worn. C Do not allow face wash to accumulate on the brush heads.

7.2 Cleaning Silk'n Pure Deluxe accessories

Wash the Face Massage brush head with warm water, and remove any build-up that may have accumulated. Then dry it with a clean cloth. Wipe the Eye Massage brush head with a damp cloth using a mild detergent. Alternatively, wash it with warm water and remove any build-up that may have accumulated. Then dry it with a clean cloth.

7.3 Cleaning the device and the face brush stand

We recommend that you clean the device after each use, and the face brush stand once a month. Before cleaning: Disconnect the device from the adapter. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals to clean any parts. Clean the device or face brush stand with a damp cloth using a mild detergent, then wipe it dry with a clean cloth. 7.4 Replacing the brush head

1. To remove the brush head, simply grip the outer plastic base of the brush head

with one hand, and the device handle with the other, and pull upwards until it snaps loose.

2. To attach a brush head, place the center of the brush head on the brush

attachment point.3. Gently press the brush head and push down until it clicks into place.

You can leave the device in the face brush stand and use it as a counter top stand. If you don't plan to use the device for some time, we recommend you store it in a dry place.

What Does This Warranty Cover? What period does this warranty certicate cover? The warranty covers repair requests received within one year (1) from the Device’s original purchase date. Repair requests after one year (1) from the date of purchase are not covered by this certicate of warranty. Repair requests regarding a Device that was repaired or replaced must be submitted no later than: (a) one year (1) from the original purchase date of the Device or (b) ninety (90) days from the date that the repaired or replaced Device was returned to you, the later to occur. If a sticker is attached to your Device stating a warranty period longer than that indicated above, the warranty period mentioned on the sticker will apply, and the Device will be repaired or replaced as part of the warranty until such period expires.
