Open the door and remove the old gasket. Install the new gasket ensuring there is no gap between the gasket and the door to prevent cold air leakage.

How to remove a freezer drawer?

Gently lift the front of the drawer and slide it out. To reinstall, follow the reverse procedure.

What tools are needed to replace a hinge?

You will need a crosshead screwdriver, a flat-head screwdriver and a 12 mm socket wrench (tools not supplied).

Can I reverse the door myself?

Yes, but it is recommended to do it with at least two people. Always disconnect the appliance before starting and follow the instructions in the manual.

Where can I buy spare parts?

Visit the samsung.com website in the spare parts section. Enter the model code (BRB26610EWW) shown on the product barcode label.

Which parts can I replace myself?

User-replaceable parts are the handles (some models), gaskets, drawers and hinges. For hinges, be careful as the door is heavy.

How to clean my freezer?

Disconnect the appliance, remove food and drawers. Clean with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before turning back on.

What to do if the door does not close properly?

Check that the gasket is correctly positioned and not torn. Ensure the freezer is level. If necessary, adjust the hinges.

How to change the interior light bulb?

Disconnect the appliance. Locate the light bulb (usually under a cover). Unscrew the old one and replace with a bulb of the same type (often E14 10W). Screw back and reconnect.

What is the freezing capacity?

The freezing capacity is approximately 12 kg per 24 hours for this model. Be careful not to exceed this capacity to ensure good preservation.

2. Visit the part purchase site and enter the model code of your product to check the parts available for purchase. The model code is labelled on the outer side of your product.
3. You can check the model code and version on the barcode label at the bottom left of the product.
4. For replacement parts, make sure the part name matches that of the illustration in this manual.
5. User-serviceable parts are limited to handles (some models only), gaskets, drawers, and hinges.

Gasket replacement

CAUTION

Make sure you firmly attach the gasket. Otherwise, cold air from the refrigerator may leak.

To remove the gasket

Open the door and remove the gasket from the door.

To replace the gasket

Attach a new gasket to the refrigerator door.

Make sure there is no gap between the newgasket and the door.

Drawer replacement

CAUTION

Check that the drawer is inserted properly into the rail during assembly.

To remove the drawer

Gently lift up the front of the drawer and slide out.

To reattach the drawers

Reattaching the drawers follows the reverse order of their respective removal steps.

Hinge replacement

To replace the hinges, you must remove the doors first.

CAUTION

• When removing the doors, take extreme caution because the doors are heavy.
• Before replacing the hinges, put a soft pad such as cardboard on the floor to prevent scratches on the door when you place the doors down.
• As the hinges must be handled carefully and replaced by two or more persons, we recommend you to call for professional technical service.
• If you remove the hinge without holding the door, the door may fall and cause injury.
• Ensure that the shaft is firmly tightened on the hinge.
• Check that the hinge is firmly attached to the cabinet.
  • Make sure the wire connectors are connected properly.
• Be careful not to damage the wires when fastening the top cover.

WARNING

• Tilting/laying the refrigerator requires a minimum of 2 people.
• Disconnect the power cord before reversing the doors.

1. Remove the Cover Hinge UP.

2. Remove the 2 screws in the upper hinge of the upper refrigerator compartment door.

3. Remove the hinge.

CAUTION

It is highly recommended to ask somebody to hold the door while removing the hinge.

1. Remove the Support-Rail cover.

Be careful not to scratch.

1. After unscrewing and removing Five screws, disassemble the ASSY HINGE MID (1).

2. Remove the door by carefully lifting the door (2).

CAUTION

Be careful not to scratch.

1. Use the screwdriver to loosen and remove the upper, middle, and bottom hinges on the fridge's door or the freezer's door in the arrow direction as shown.

2. Reassemble in the opposite order of disassembly after replacing the Hinge Up, Hinge Mid, and/or Hinge Low.

CAUTION

• Make sure the wire connectors are connected properly.

- Be careful not to damage the wires when fastening the top cover.
