This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or those lacking experience and / or knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and they un- derstand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision. This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling electrical products. Do not use the product if you detect any type of damage. Protect the product from moisture and humidity. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids! Only connect the product to a properly installed mains socket or a suitable 12 V socket. The voltages in each case must comply with information given in the section “Technical data”. Ensure that the electrical socket is easily accessible so that you can pull the power adapter

quickly out of the socket if neces- sary. Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the product yours elf. The LEDs cannot and must not be replaced. The LEDs are not replaceable.18 GB/IE If the LEDs fail at the end of their lifes, the entire product must be replaced. Dispose of the product when the product, the USB cable

or the mains adapter and car charger adapter are damaged. Ensure the USB cable

cannot become damaged by sharp edges or hot objects. Unwind the USB cable

completely before use. Protect the product from extreme heat and cold. Do not attach the hook

to hot objects. The weight of the product can then morph the shape of the hook

This product may only be charged with the power adapter

(model no.: SD-G0500500USB) or car charger adapter

pro- vided. Please be aware that while the adapters are plugged in, they use a small amount of power, even when the product is not switched on. To take the adapters out of operation, unplug from the socket, or remove the car charger adapter

from the 12 V supply. The power adapter

provided are only suitable for use with the product. LEDs are very bright, therefore do not look directly into the product. Safety instructions for batteries / rechargeable batteries DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention. DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non- rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result. Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water. Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries. Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention. WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs. This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the user. The removal or replacement of the recharge- able battery may only be carried out by the manufacturer or his19 GB/IE customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. When disposing of the product, it should be noted that this product contains a rechargeable battery. Before use Charging the product Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product. Note: You can recharge the product using a normal household socket or using your car‘s 12 V connection. Note: The fuse of the car charger adapter

can be exchanged. The technical data of the fuse must comply with information given in the section “Technical data”. The fuse may only be replaced by a qualified electrician. CAUTION! Do not connect the product to your car‘s 12 V connection if the car battery is already old and worn. Doing so could mean that the car engine will no longer start. Note: In order to use the product without a USB cable

, you need to recharge the rechargeable battery before use. The charging process takes about 3 to 5hours. The rechargeable battery is firmly integrated into the base of the product. Note: Charge the product for approx. 12 hours prior to first use. Connect the USB cable

with the USB connector of the power adapter

or the car charger adapter

Connect the coaxial power connector on the USB cable

to the connector socket

on the product. Plug the power adapter

into a socket, or plug the car charger adapter

into the 12 V socket in your vehicle. Note: During charging, the charging indicator

lights up red. When charging is complete, the charging indicator

is green, pull the power adapter

out of the socket or the car charger adapter

from the 12 V connection. Disconnect the mains adapter and car charger adapter from the prod- uct to prevent the rechargeable battery from discharging. Use RISK OF ACCIDENT! Preferably do not use the product whilst driving the vehicle. When using the product in a vehicle, be sure this does not endanger the driver or the passengers. Always store and secure the product so that even full braking does not pose a risk of injury from the product or product damage. The product may be secured with the hook

or by securing it to a flat, ferromagnetic surface using the magnetic base

at the back. Use the joint

to tilt the product up to 180 ° on the magnetic base

CAUTION! Please note the position of your hands whilst turning the magnetic base

to prevent pinching your fingers (see Fig. C). Using the product without a power connection Fully charge the product as described in the section “Charging the product“. The product can be operated in 4 different modes, select these by repeatedly pressing the ON / OFF switch

lights up at full power. press twice: The side light

lights up at low power. press three times: Switches the side light

off and switches on the spotlight

press four times: Switches off the product Maintenance and Cleaning The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be replaced. Switch off the product and disconnect from the mains or unplug the car charger adapter

from the 12 V socket before cleaning. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never use caustic cleaners. Regularly clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly moist cloth to remove any stubborn dirt. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. The Green Dot is not valid for Germany.
