concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intendeduse
This product is only suitable for private use in dry indoor locations, e.g. in workshops or garages. The product withstand extreme physical conditions of vibration (1.0 m ^2 / s ^3 )

Safety instructions
Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use! When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents!

OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN!
Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging Always keep children away from the packaging material.
This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or those lacking experience and / or knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and they understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling electrical products.
- Do not use the product if you detect any type of damage.
- Protect the product from moisture and humidity. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids!
- Only connect the product to a properly installed mains socket or a suitable 12 V socket. The voltages in each case must comply with information given in the section "Technical data".
- Ensure that the electrical socket is easily accessible so that you can pull the power adapter 11 quickly out of the socket if necessary.
Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the product yourself. The LEDs cannot and must not be replaced.
■ The LEDs are not replaceable.
If the LEDs fail at the end of their lifes, the entire product must be replaced.
■ Dispose of the product when the product, the USB cable 13 or the mains adapter and car charger adapter are damaged.
■ Ensure the USB cable 13 cannot become damaged by sharp edges or hot objects. Unwind the USB cable 13 completely before use.
■ Protect the product from extreme heat and cold.
Do not attach the hook 5 to hot objects. The weight of the product can then morph the shape of the hook 5.
This product may only be charged with the power adapter 11 (model no.: SD-G0500500USB) or car charger adapter 12 provided.
Please be aware that while the adapters are plugged in, they use a small amount of power, even when the product is not switched on. To take the adapters out of operation, unplug from the socket, or remove the car charger adapter 12 from the 12 V supply.
The power adapter 11 and the USB cable 13 provided are only suitable for use with the product.
■ LEDs are very bright, therefore do not look directly into the product.
Safety instructions for batteries / rechargeable batteries
■ DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
■ Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention.
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the user. The removal or replacement of the rechargeable battery may only be carried out by the manufacturer or his
customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. When disposing of the product, it should be noted that this product contains a rechargeable battery.
●Beforeuse
- Charging the product
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.
Note: You can recharge the product using a normal household socket or using your car's 12 V connection.
Note: The fuse of the car charger adapter 12 can be exchanged. The technical data of the fuse must comply with information given in the section "Technical data". The fuse may only be replaced by a qualified electrician.
CAUTION! Do not connect the product to your car's 12 V connection if the car battery is already old and worn. Doing so could mean that the car engine will no longer start.
Note: In order to use the product without a USB cable 13, you need to recharge the rechargeable battery before use. The charging process takes about 3 to 5 hours. The rechargeable battery is firmly integrated into the base of the product.
Note: Charge the product for approx. 12 hours prior to first use.
☐ Connect the USB cable 13 with the USB connector of the power adapter 11 or the car charger adapter 12.
☐ Connect the coaxial power connector on the USB cable 13 to the connector socket 7 on the product.
☐ Plug the power adapter 11 into a socket, or plug the car charger adapter 12 into the 12 V socket in your vehicle.
Note: During charging, the charging indicator 6 lights up red. When charging is complete, the charging indicator 6 lights up green. When the charging indicator 6 is green, pull the power adapter 11 out of the socket or the car charger adapter 12 from the 12 V connection. Disconnect the mains adapter and car charger adapter from the product to prevent the rechargeable battery from discharging.
Use
RISK OF ACCIDENT! Preferably do not use the product whilst driving the vehicle. When using the product in a vehicle, be sure this does not endanger the driver or the passengers. Always store and secure the product so that even full braking does not pose a risk of injury from the product or product damage.
☐ The product may be secured with the hook 5 or by securing it to a flat, ferromagnetic surface using the magnetic base 3 or the
magnet 10 at the back. Use the joint 9 to tilt the product up to 180° on the magnetic base 3.
CAUTION! Please note the position of your hands whilst turning the magnetic base 3 to prevent pinching your fingers (see Fig. C).

□ Fully charge the product as described in the section "Charging the product".
☐ The product can be operated in 4 different modes, select these by repeatedly pressing the ON / OFF switch ^2 .

● Maintenance and Cleaning
The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
■ Switch off the product and disconnect from the mains or unplug the car charger adapter 12 from the 12 V socket before cleaning.
■ Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
■ Never use caustic cleaners.
☐ Regularly clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly moist cloth to remove any stubborn dirt.
●Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. The Green Dot is not valid for Germany.
Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibreboard / 80-98: composite materials.
The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the product to the available collection points.
Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!
Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
