Frequently Asked Questions - FX700 Hydro Laserworld

What is the intended use of this laser projector?
This projector is intended for professional use for shows and displays (2D/3D image projection). It must not be used as a laser pointer.
How to install the projector safely?
Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel. Ensure the laser is unplugged during installation, maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm from walls, secure it firmly with a safety sling capable of supporting 10 times its weight, and connect an accessible emergency stop switch.
What are the different operating modes?
The projector offers three modes: Auto (fast, slow or white rotation), DMX (control via 7 DMX channels) and Master-Slave (synchronization of multiple devices).
How to configure DMX mode?
In the menu, navigate to the display 'A001', then use the Up/Down buttons to set the desired DMX address (from 1 to 511). Confirm with Enter. The projector uses 7 DMX channels.
What to do in case of prolonged non-use?
Unplug the projector from the mains or turn it off using the power switch. Even in standby, the diode remains powered (stand-by current).
How to maintain the projector to extend its lifespan?
Avoid quick and repeated start-ups, protect the device from humidity and heat, regularly clean fans and fins to prevent overheating, and transport it in a suitable flight case.
What safety precautions should I take when using it?
Never look directly into the laser beam. Wear protective goggles appropriate for the wavelength. Remove any reflective objects (rings, watches) and use non-reflective tools. Ensure the beam is not directed towards people or flammable objects.
Can this projector be used outdoors?
Yes, thanks to its IP65 protection rating, it is suitable for outdoor use. However, ensure compliance with temperature conditions (0°C to 35°C) and avoid direct exposure to heavy rain.
How to use Master-Slave mode?
Connect the projectors via DMX cables (master output to slave inputs). Set the slaves to SLAV mode in the menu. The master must be in Auto mode (AUTF, AUTS or AUTH) and the DMX address set to A001. All slaves will then reproduce the same patterns.
What to do if the projector does not turn on or seems defective?
First check the power supply and connections. If the problem persists, contact your dealer or Laserworld directly. Do not open the device yourself, as this will void the warranty. Repairs must be carried out by authorized personnel.

If several Slave lasers are used, link the first one to the Master laser and daisy-chain the control signal from the first Slave laser to the second etc..

The Slave units must be set to SLAVE („SLAV“) mode.

C: Activate Master Laser

The Master laser needs to be set as control source. To do that simply select „A001“ by navigating with the „Up“ / „Down“ buttons. Confirm with „Enter“.

D: Set Auto mode on Master laser
