testo 105 is a robust food thermometer to measure the temperature of semi-solid substances. Depending on the probe used, the thermometer can be used in the following sectors: gastronomy, refrigeration, industrial kitchens, supermarkets, Incoming goods inspections, HACCP.

1 Pull out battery compartment.
2 Insert battery (4 x Type LR44). Watch out for +/-.
3 Reinsert battery compartment.

7. Operation

If the signal sound is switched on, there will be a sound every time is pressed and alarm limits are exceeded.

If the light is switched on, the display light will light up for 5s every time a button is pressed or alarm limits are exceeded.

If Auto Off is switched on, the instrument switches off automatically after 10 minutes if no button has been activated.

If Auto Hold is switched on, AUTO HOLD flashes. Once the reading is stable within a fixed time duration, it will be frozen.

AUTO HOLD lights up.

9.1 Changing the probe

The instrument must be switched off.

1 Turn threaded ring in an anti-clockwise direction and remove the probe.
2 Attach new probe (observe guides) and screw on threaded ring in a clockwise direction.

9.2 Changing the battery

1 Take out the battery compartment.
2 Remove empty batteries and put in new batteries (4 x Type LR44).

3 Reinsert battery compartment.

9.3 Cleaning the instrument

Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or solutions.
