How to install the Blumodular 2 filter?
Place the filter in the aquarium (side or back). Use the supports with suction cups by inserting them at the top and bottom. For a Cayman aquarium, use the guides provided on the top frame. The accessories (diffuser, Venturi, spray bar) are attached after installation.
How to adjust the filter flow rate?
Turn the flow regulator: clockwise increases flow, counterclockwise decreases it.
What is the Venturi system for?
The Venturi system injects air into the water flow to oxygenate the aquarium. Connect the silicone tube with regulator to the air intake and insert the connector at the filter outlet.
How to clean the filter foams?
Rinse the foams every 2-3 weeks with clean water (no detergents). Replace them every 6 months with genuine Ferplast foams.
How to maintain the filter pump?
Every 6 months, unplug the pump, remove the rotor, clean it with a soft brush (no chemicals) to remove limescale, then reassemble. Replace the rotor if necessary.
Can I use other filter media besides foams?
