How to use the Sinbo SEB 5802 egg cooker?

Pour water into the basin according to the number of eggs and desired doneness using the measuring cup. Pierce the top of each egg with the provided utensil. Place the eggs on the tray, close the lid, plug in the appliance. The indicator light turns on. When the water has evaporated, the appliance switches off and emits a beep. Unplug and carefully remove the lid.

How to get soft-boiled, medium-boiled, or hard-boiled eggs?

Use the graduated measuring cup: it has three levels (Soft, Medium, Hard) corresponding to doneness. Fill with water to the appropriate mark according to the number of eggs. The more water, the more cooked the eggs.

Why should eggs be pierced before cooking?

Piercing a small hole at the narrow end of the egg prevents it from cracking during cooking by releasing internal pressure.

What to do if eggs crack during cooking?

Make sure you pierced the eggs correctly. Do not use cracked eggs. Check that the water level is sufficient and that the appliance is level.

How to clean the egg cooker?

Unplug and let it cool. The egg tray and lid can be washed normally with soapy water. The fixed heating plate must be cleaned with a damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water.

How to descale the heating plate?

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• Measuring water The amount of water required depends on the number of eggs and the degree of hardness/softness desired. The measuring cup marked 3 scales : Soft, Medium and Hard-boiled. Each scale has the number of eggs marked on it. Fill the measuring beaker with water up to the appropriate mark. Mark sure that the egg boiler is placed in horizontal position. Unwind the cable from the base. Pour measured amount of water into the boiling plate.

• Preparing for eggs Use the pin underside the measuring cup to prick a small aperture into the blunt end of the egg. This prevents the eggshells bursting during boiling. Put eggs into tray and put the boiling plate. Close the lid.

• Boiling eggs Put the plug into socket. Machine is now in operation. When all water has evaporated. Built-in thermostat switches off the boiler and the buzzer sounds. Eggs are now cooked. Pull out the plug from socket. Remove the lid carefully. As it is very hot, immediately take out the egg tray and cool the eggs.

CLEANING

Always unplug the appliance and allow cooling before cleaning. The egg tray and the cover can be washed normally. However, the cooking plate which is fixed to the bottom of the appliance can only be cleaned with a moistened towel. Do not immerse the appliance in water! When excessive scales are deposited on the cooking plate, normal household vinegar can be used to remove the scales. Dilute the vinegar with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts of water). Pour the solution onto the cooking plate. Allow soaking for about 30 minutes. Then pour way the liquid. Wipe the cooking plate clean with a moistened towel. Safety Measures The appliance should not be used when: - Cable is damaged - The appliance can be visually seen damaged - The appliance has been dropped onto the floor, even if visible damage is not seen. Do not use the appliance except as stated in this manual.
