USER MANUAL CP851 BUFFALO
- Position on a flat, stable surface.
- A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any components on this product.

- DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
- DO NOT clean with jet/pressure washers.
- DO NOT move or carry the appliance when it is switched on.
- DO NOT operate the appliance without water in the outer container.
- Keep the lid closed when not serving.
- Suitable for indoor use only.
- Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
- This appliance must only be used in accordance with these instructions and by persons competent to do so.
- Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of local authorities.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.
- Caution! Hot surface!
- Buffalo recommend that this appliance is PAT tested on an annual basis to ensure the product remains safe.3

- Slot the lid on top of the appliance. Note: The lid is hinged in the middle. Lift one half of the lid to access the container. Attaching Labels
1. Slide the relevant label into the magnetic label holder.
2. Attach the holder to the side of the appliance.
Note: If the desired label is not included, simply write the name of the product on the reverse of one of the labels. Operation
1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Fill the outer container with approximately 600ml of water
(MIN / MAX WATERLINE). Do not exceed the MAX marking.
3. Carefully place the inner container into the appliance.4
Note: The inner container must NOT float, even when empty. If the container floats reduce the amount of water in the outer container.
4. Fill the inner container with hot soup and close the lid.
Note: If necessary, remove any excess water from the outer container.
5. Set the temperature control. The temperature ranges
from 1 (lowest) to 12 (highest).
6. The Power light will come on and remain on and the
kettle will begin to heat up. Note: Kettle is not designed to heat food from cold.
7. Reduce the temperature to maintain heat levels. To maintain temperature, BUFFALO recommend the
lowest heat setting possible.

WARNING: Never move or carry the appliance when it is switched on or contains
hot liquid. Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
- Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
- Clean any spilt food on the appliance immediately.
- Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.
- The inner container and lid are machine washable.

- Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
- Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
