• This device is designed to relieve the muscles and delivers relaxation. The device can be used to massage the back, neck, abdominal, arm, foot and leg muscles. It is not a replacement for medically required treatment.

• The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.

• The device should only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han- dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear. Safety Instructions ■ The device must always be disconnected from the mains power when it is left unattended and before cleaning it. ■ This device should not be used by people (including children) with impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and/or knowledge of such devices, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or have received instructions from such a person on how to use the device. ■ Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device. ■ The device has a heating function. People who are sensitive to heat must be careful when using the heating function. ■ Keep sharp and pointed objects away from the device to ensure that it is not damaged. ■ In the interest of your own safety, you should inspect the device for damage each time before you use it. It may only be used if it has no visible signs of damage! ■ If the device, the mains cable or the mains adapter of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or cus- tomer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.13 EN Health-Specifi c Instructions ■ Only use the device if you have no physical illnesses or ailments. ■ The following people may use the device only after consultation with their doctor: – people who wear a pacemaker or similar medical implants; – people with heart disease or who suffer from epilepsy; – people who have back complaints or spinal disorders; – people who suffer from osteomyelitis, bone infl ammation (in particular if the spinal column is damaged) or from osteoporosis; – women who are pregnant or have just given birth; – people who suffer from circulation problems or thrombosis; – people who have undergone an operation for which the treatment is not yet complete; – people with physical abnormalities; – people who have a malignant tumour. ■ If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a responsible doctor. ■ Do not use the device near to or on injuries, swelling, skin irritations, infected skin, warts, fungal infections, abnormal changes in the skin or body parts with no feeling. ■ The device must not be used for longer than 30 minutes continuously. Do not mas- sage one group of muscles for longer than 15 minutes. ■ If you experience an unpleasant sensation while you are using the device, stop per- forming the massage immediately! ■ Do not fall asleep while you are using the device! ■ Do not use the device before going to bed. The massage has a stimulating effect, which may lead to problems getting to sleep. Dangers of Injury ■ Keep children and animals away from the device and packaging material. There is a risk of injury and suffocation! ■ Do not insert any fi ngers or other body parts into the device. Do not open the zip during use. ■ The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals. The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of children and animals. Other- wise they might use the cable to pull the device down on themselves. ■ Connected cables must not present a trip hazard. Danger of Electric Shock ■ Use and store the device only in dry indoor rooms. ■ The device should only be connected to a properly installed plug socket with safety contacts. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the technical data of the device. Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device. ■ Never immerse the device, mains cable or mains adapter in water or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.EN 14 ■ Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not at- tempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power! ■ Do not touch the device with wet hands. ■ In the event of damage / faults (e.g. unusual noises, odour or smoke development) and in a thunderstorm, switch the device off immediately and pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket. ■ Do not carry or pull the mains adapter by the mains cable. Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces, do not pinch it in doors or pull it over sharp edges or corners. Danger of Fire ■ Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust or poisonous and explosive fumes and substances in the air. ■ Do not use the device under a blanket or similar item or in the vicinity of combustible material. Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device ■ Do not lie or stand on the device. ■ Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, moisture and collisions. ■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These can damage the surface. ■ Keep the device in a dry place at temperatures of between 0 and 40°C. 415 EN Functions You can use the ON / OFF button (1) to choose between the following options:

• Massage function with automatic change of direction every minute, red light and heat (press the ON / OFF button (1) once)

• Massage function with automatic change of direction every 5 minutes, red light and heat (press the ON / OFF button (1) twice)

• Massage function with automatic change of direction every minute, without red light and heat (press the ON / OFF button (1) three times)

• Switch off (press the ON / OFF button (1) four times) Before Initial Use CAUTION! ■ Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of suffocation!

• Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items Supplied and Device Overview" chapter) and possible transport damage. If you fi nd any damage to the components, do not use them (!), but contact our customer service department.

• Remove all possible transport restraints and protective fi lms. Use CAUTION! ■ No pressure should be exerted on the device as this will slow down or stop the mas- sage and the device could be damaged. Do not stand or lie on the device. ■ Do not use the device for longer than 30 minutes without stopping. ■ Do not massage one group of muscles for longer than 15 minutes. ■ For reasons of hygiene, avoid direct contact of the skin with the device wherever pos- sible. It should not come into contact with skin that has had cream or oil applied to it. ■ A tingling sensation/itching during or after the massage is normal due to the circula- tion-boosting effect. We recommend that you wait an hour after mealtimes before using the device.EN 16 Areas of Application When this device performs a massage, two massage heads massage the muscles twice. This is intended to relax them and boost circulation. The device is suitable for massaging the back, neck, abdominal, arm, foot and leg muscles. Examples: Neck and shoulders Back Thighs Operating the Device

1. Connect the mains adapter to the connecting cable on the device.

2. Insert the mains adapter into an easily accessible socket.

3. Place the massage balls (2) of the device onto the part of the body which is to be

massaged (see the “Areas of Application” section). For a shoulder or back massage, pull the fastening elastic band (3) over the back of a chair. Make sure it is the correct height.

4. Press the ON / OFF button (1) several times if necessary (see the “Functions” chap-

ter). The massage starts.

5. After 15 minutes the device automatically switches off. To switch it off sooner, press

the ON / OFF button (1) until the device switches off.

6. Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket and clean the device if necessary.

Cleaning and Storage CAUTION! ■ Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket before cleaning the device. ■ Never immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains adapter in water or other liquids! No liquid must be allowed to enter the device during cleaning. ■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage the surface.

• Make sure that the device is switched off and the mains adapter has been removed from the plug socket!

• Wipe down the device just with a damp cloth if necessary. Then wipe it down fully with a dry cloth.

• Do not wind the mains cable around the device or the mains adapter.

• Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected from sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals.17 EN Troubleshooting If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the prob- lem yourself. Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself! Problem Possible cause / solution The device does not work.

• Has the ON/OFF button (1) been pressed properly?

• Is the mains adapter inserted in the plug socket?

• Is the plug socket defective? Try another one.

• Check the fuse of the mains connection.

• Is the connecting cable connected correctly to the mains cable of the mains adapter?

• The device has switched off automatically after operating for 15 minutes. Press the ON / OFF button (1) again.

• There is too much weight on the device. No heat is produced. • Is the red light and heat switched on? The device gets too warm.

• Was it in operation several times in succession for 15 min- utes / too long in each case? Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down. Always disconnect the device from the mains when it is not in use. The device makes noises.

• Operating noises are a normal consequence of the me- chanics and not a defect. Smoke emerges from the device.
