• This device is intended to be used for loosening the neck and back muscles and de- livers relaxation. The device may also be used to massage abdominal, buttock and leg muscles. It is not a replacement for medically required treatment.

• The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.

• The device should only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han- dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear. Safety Instructions ■ This device should not be used by people (including children) with impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and/or knowledge of such devices, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or have received instructions from such a person on how to use the device. ■ Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device. ■ The device has a heating function. People who are sensitive to heat must be careful when using the heating function. ■ Keep sharp and pointed objects away from the device to ensure that it is not damaged. ■ The device must always be disconnected from the mains power when it is left unattended and before cleaning it. It may only be used if it has no visible signs of damage! ■ If the device, the mains cable or the mains adapter of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or cus- tomer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards. Health-Specifi c Instructions ■ Only use the device if you have no physical illnesses or ailments. ■ The following people may use the device only after consultation with their doc- tor: – people who wear a pacemaker or similar medical implants; – people with heart disease or who suffer from epilepsy; – people who have back complaints or spinal disorders; – people who suffer from osteomyelitis, bone infl ammation (in particular if the spinal column is damaged) or from osteoporosis; – women who are pregnant or have just given birth; – people who suffer from circulation problems or thrombosis; – people who have undergone an operation for which the treatment is not yet complete; – people with physical abnormalities; – people who have a malignant tumour. ■ If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a responsible doctor. ■ Do not use the device near to or on injuries, swelling, skin irritations, infected skin, warts, fungal infections, abnormal changes in the skin or body parts with no feeling. ■ The device must not be used for longer than 30 minutes continuously. Do not mas- sage one group of muscles for longer than 15 minutes. ■ If you experience an unpleasant sensation while you are using the device, stop per- forming the massage immediately! ■ Do not fall asleep while you are using the device! ■ Do not use the device before going to bed. The massage has a stimulating effect, which may lead to problems getting to sleep. DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock from Water! ■ Use and store only in closed rooms. ■ Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity. ■ Never immerse the device, mains cable or mains adapter in water or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet. ■ Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not at- tempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power! ■ Never touch the device, mains cable or mains adapter with wet hands when these components are connected to the mains power.EN 14 WARNING – Danger of Electric Shock from Damage and Inappropriate Use! ■ Only connect the mains adapter to a plug socket with safety contacts that is properly installed and matches the technical data of the device. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. ■ Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device. ■ In the event of damage / faults (e.g. unusual noises, odour or smoke development) and in a thunderstorm, switch the device off immediately and pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket. ■ The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains adapter. Always pull the mains adapter and never the mains cable to disconnect the device from the mains power. WARNING – Danger of Injuries! ■ Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the mains cable is always kept out of the reach of small children and animals. ■ Do not insert any fi ngers or other body parts into the device. Do not open the zip during use. ■ Danger of falling! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. WARNING – Danger of Fire! ■ Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust or poisonous and explosive fumes and substances in the air. ■ Do not use the device under a blanket or similar item or in the vicinity of combustible material. NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property ■ Do not lie or stand on the device. ■ Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, moisture and collisions. ■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. HT button: Red light and heat can be switched off or on again

On / Off button: When switched on the massage device starts the massage and changes direction approx. every minute. The red light and heat function is automati- cally switched on at the same time.

DR change of direction button: The massage balls massage continuously either clockwise or anticlockwise.EN 16 Use PLEASE NOTE! ■ No pressure should be exerted on the device as this will slow down or stop the mas- sage and the device could be damaged. Do not stand or lie on the device. ■ Do not use the device for longer than 30 minutes without stopping. ■ Do not massage one group of muscles for longer than 15 minutes. ■ For reasons of hygiene, avoid direct contact of the skin with the device wherever possible. It should not come into contact with skin that has had cream or oil applied to it. ■ A tingling sensation/itching during or after the massage is normal due to the circu- lation-boosting effect. We recommend that you wait an hour after mealtimes before using the device. Areas of Application When this device performs a massage, two massage heads massage the muscles twice. This is intended to relax them and boost circulation. The device is designed in particular for use on the upper back area (in particular the neck). 1. Connect the mains adapter to the connecting socket of the device.

2. Insert the mains plug into a plug socket that is easily accessible.

3. Place the massage surface of the device onto the part

of the body which is to be massaged. For a shoulder or back massage, place the straps of the device around your shoulders and fi x them in place by putting your arms through the loops and thus holding the device in the cor- rect position.

6. Pull out the mains plug and store the device in a dry place

• Wipe down the device just with a damp cloth if necessary. Then wipe it down fully with a dry cloth.

• Do not wind the mains cable around the device or the mains adapter.

• Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected from sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer service department. Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself! Problem Possible cause Fix The device does not work. The button has not been pressed properly. Press the button. The mains adapter is not inserted correctly in the plug socket. Push the mains adapter into the plug socket as far as it will go. The device is not con- nected correctly to the mains adapter. Correct the connection. The plug socket is defective. Try another plug socket. There is no mains voltage. Check the fuse of the electrical distributor (fuse box). There is too much weight on the device. Reduce weight on the device. No heat is produced. The red light and heat are not switched on. Press the HT button. The device gets too warm. The device was in operation several times in succession for 15 minutes / too long in each case. Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down. Always disconnect the device from the mains when it is not in use. The device makes noises. Operating noises are a normal consequence of the mechanics and not a defect. Smoke emerges from the device. The device is defective. Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket immediately and contact the customer ser- vice department. Disposal Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that it can be recycled. The device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electri- cal and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of the device as normal domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially approved waste disposal company.
