If you use the device on a carpet, make sure that the ventilation openings on the bottom of the device remain clear. ■ Protect sensitive fl oor coverings on which the device is placed with a mat if neces- sary. ■ Each time before you start using the device, make sure that there is suffi cient clear- ance around the device so that you cannot bump into walls, furniture, etc. during use.
1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see chapter “Items
Supplied” on page 16) and transport damage. If you fi nd any damage to the com- ponents, do not use them (!), but contact the customer service department.
2. Insert batteries into the remote control (see below).
3. Place the device on a level fl oor surface. Make sure that it is a suffi cient distance from
walls or furniture etc. on all sides so that you have enough space for your workout.
4. If you want to use the expander bands, turn the device
over so that the bottom is pointing upwards. Attach the spring hooks to the mounting eyelets. Then place the de- vice back on its feet. Otherwise continue with the next step.
5. First connect the mains cable to the socket of the device and then to a properly in-
stalled, easily accessible plug socket. The mains voltage must match the technical data on the rating plate of the device. Ensure that it is not possible for others to trip over the connected mains cable or the device itself. Inserting Batteries into the Remote Control
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote
control: Press the catch toward the battery compartment cover and remove the cover.
2. Insert two 1.5 V batteries of the AAA type into the battery
compartment. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and fl ip it shut.
- Replace the batteries when the performance of the remote control starts to wane.19 EN Use CAUTION! ■ Please consult your doctor before using the device if you belong to a health risk group, if you have not done any sport for some time, if you have balance problems, cardiovascular problems or orthopaedic problems. If necessary, coordinate your training programme with him. ■ Pregnant women should not use the device or should use it only after consultation with their doctor. ■ Start on the slowest vibration level and increase the intensity only gradually. We ex- plicitly point out that improper use of the device and excessive use can be detrimental to your health. ■ Stop using the device immediately if you suddenly feel weak or dizzy. If you feel sick, have pain in your chest or arms, an irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath or other unusual symptoms, seek medical attention immediately. ■ Do not kneel, stamp or jump on the vibrating plate to prevent injuries and damage to the device. ■ Do not stand on just one side of the vibrating plate, because the device would not work properly and could tip over. ■ Do not work out on a full stomach. ■ The device may only be used by one person at a time. Training Programmes Nine automatic training programmes are stored in the device. Each programme has a different sequence of different vibration strengths. Programmes 0 and 1 are intended for beginners. For a varied workout, we recommend that you choose a training programme. Proceed as follows to do this:
- After switching on the device, press
button on the control panel or the P button on the remote control repeatedly until the programme number (0 to 9) that you want appears on the TIME PRO display on the control panel.
- You can use the P0-3, P4-6 and P7-9 buttons on the remote control to access the programmes faster. For example, when you press the P7-9 button, the device skips directly to programme 7. You can switch to the next programme in the sequence by pressing the button again.
- To start the programme you have chosen, press the START/STOP button on the remote control or the button on the device. Basic Use of the Device Only basic use of the device is described below. The various possible applications and exercises are explained on the poster supplied with the device.
1. Flip the I / 0 main power switch to position I. It lights up
and the device is supplied with power. 00 appears on the SPEED display. If the device is in stand-by mode, bars fl ash on both displays. You can use the button on the control panel to switch stand-by mode on and off.EN 20 The device can be controlled both with and without the remote control. To make it easier to operate, we recommend using the remote control. Direct it towards the receiver (REMOTE) of the device.
2. Pick up the remote control or the expander bands if nec-
with both feet on the inner zone (WALKING). This is where the vibrations are weakest. Subsequently you can if you wish stand on the middle zones (JOGGING) or outer zones (RUNNING) where the vibrations are stronger. Dis- tribute your weight evenly on both feet.
– select a training programme in the manner described in the “Training Pro- grammes” on page 19 section, – set the workout time with the T-/+ buttons (remote control) or the TIME -/+ buttons (device) or – start the device straight away (see next step). The preset workout time until the automatic stop is then 10 minutes.
5. To start the device, press the
START/STOP button (remote control) or the button (device). The device then begins to vibrate. On the two displays you will then see alternately: – TIME PRO display: remaining workout time in minutes; active programme and C0. If C0 is displayed, the calorie consumption appears next to it in the SPEED display. – SPEED display: active vibration level and calorie consumption (up to 99 Kcal) if C0 (or C1 – C3) appears in the TIME PRO display. If during a workout you consume more than 99 Kcal, the counter starts at 0 again, and C1 then appears in the TIME PRO display. Add the C1 value to 99 to calculate the calorie consumption.
6. Once you have selected a training programme, no further settings can be made.
Otherwise you can set the vibration level to between 1 and 99 using the buttons T-/+ (remote control) and SPEED
(device) . You can use the 30, 60 and 99 buttons on the remote control to skip directly to the respective vibration level.
7. The device stops automatically after the preset time has elapsed. However, you can
stop it manually at any time using the buttons START/STOP (remote control) or ■ (device).
8. After fi nishing your workout, step off the vibrating plate, fl ip the I / 0 main power switch
to position 0 and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
9. Clear away the device so that it does not present a trip
hazard. Use the transport castor on the bottom of the de- vice. Lift it up at the opposite end of the housing and hold it an angle of 45°. It can now roll.
10. We recommend that you then do a few loosening-up
exercises.21 EN Cleaning and Storage CAUTION! ■ Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before doing any cleaning. ■ Ensure that the device, the mains cable and the remote control cannot fall into water or become wet. ■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the device.
- Wipe the device and accessories with a damp, soft cloth and a little mild cleaning agent if required. Then dry them thoroughly.
- Store the device in a dry place that is protected from frost and direct sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals. Troubleshooting If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the prob- lem yourself. Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself! Problem Possible cause/solution The device does not work, the I / 0 main power switch does not light up.
- Is the plug inserted in the device and in the plug socket correctly?
- Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
- Check the fuse of your mains connection. The device switches off before the set workout time has elapsed.
- The device has been overloaded. Flip the I / 0 main pow- er switch to position I. Wait a moment before you switch it on again. Please note that the device can hold a max. load of 120 kg. This weight must not be exceeded for the device to work properly. The device makes unu- sual noises or does not vibrate correctly.
- Is the weight distributed unevenly on the vibrating plate? Is just one side of the device loaded? The weight on both halves of the device must be balanced for the de- vice to be able to work properly.
- Is the device overloaded? Please note that the device can hold a max. load of 120 kg. This weight must not be exceeded for the device to work properly.EN 22 Technical Data Article number: Z 07125 Model number: JF-CFM15 Voltage supply: device: 220 – 240 V~, 50/60 Hz remote control: 3 V DC (2 x 1.5 V batteries of the AAA type) Power: 200 W Protection class: I Max. loading capacity: 120 kg Device dimensions: 68 x 40 x 16 cm Device weight: 13 kg Cable length: 1.5 m Vibration levels: 99 Programmes: 9 auto programmes Disposal The packaging material is recyclable.
