CLEANING

Please Note!

■ Detach the control unit prior to cleaning.
■ Before doing any cleaning, read the "Safety Notices"!
■ Only ever wash the heated underblanket by hand! Do not clean it in a washing machine or dry-clean it.
■ Do not use fabric softener!
■ Do not iron! Do not bleach!
■ Only ever allow the heated underblanket to dry in the air. Do not place it in a tumble dryer, put it on a radiator, dry it with a hair dryer or similar object, or switch it on to dry it!
■ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads!

  • Wash the heated underblanket (without the connecting cable!) by hand in lukewarm water with a little mild detergent.
  • Place it down flat on a surface to dry. Allow the device to dry completely before using it or storing it away.
  • Wipe down the control unit and the connecting cable with a damp cloth if necessary. Then dry with a soft cloth.

STORAGE

  • Loosely fold up the completely cooled heated underblanket (Picture E).
  • Do not wind the connecting cable around the control unit.
  • Store in a clean, cool, dry place which is protected from dust and direct sunlight.
  • Keep out of the reach of children and animals.

TROUBLESHOOTING

It takes a little while for the heated underblanket to get warm. If it is still not warm half an hour after it has been switched on, check whether ...

... the plug of the control unit has been inserted in the socket of the device correctly.
... the mains plug is inserted in the plug socket.
... the plug socket is defective. Try another plug socket.

If the problem cannot be solved with the steps listed, contact the customer service department. Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!

It is possible that the overheating protection has been triggered. This can happen if the heated underblanket is not used correctly (e.g. in a folded condition) and there is a build-up of heat. In this case, the heated underblanket is damaged, and can no longer be used.
