• This device is intended to be used for loosening the neck and back muscles and de- livers relaxation. The device may also be used to massage abdominal, buttock and leg muscles. It is not a replacement for medically required treatment.

• The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.

• The device should only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han- dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear. Safety Instructions ■ This device should not be used by people (including children) with impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and/or knowledge of such devices, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or have received instructions from such a person on how to use the device. ■ Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device. ■ The device has a heating function. People who are sensitive to heat must be careful when using the heating function. ■ Keep sharp and pointed objects away from the device to ensure that it is not damaged. ■ The device must always be disconnected from the mains power when it is left unattended and before cleaning it. If the device is given to someone else, these instructions should also be handed over with it. The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information in these instructions is not complied with. It may only be used if it has no visible signs of damage! ■ If the device, the mains cable or the mains adapter of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or cus- tomer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards. Health-Specifi c Instructions ■ Only use the device if you have no physical illnesses or ailments. ■ The following people may use the device only after consultation with their doctor: – people who wear a pacemaker or similar medical implants; – people with heart disease or who suffer from epilepsy; – people who have back complaints or spinal disorders; – people who suffer from osteomyelitis, bone infl ammation (in particular if the spinal column is damaged) or from osteoporosis; – women who are pregnant or have just given birth; – people who suffer from circulation problems or thrombosis; – people who have undergone an operation for which the treatment is not yet complete; – people with physical abnormalities; – people who have a malignant tumour. ■ If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a responsible doctor. ■ Do not use the device near to or on injuries, swelling, skin irritations, infected skin, warts, fungal infections, abnormal changes in the skin or body parts with no feeling. ■ The device must not be used for longer than 30 minutes continuously. Do not mas- sage one group of muscles for longer than 15 minutes. ■ If you experience an unpleasant sensation while you are using the device, stop per- forming the massage immediately! ■ Do not fall asleep while you are using the device! ■ Do not use the device before going to bed. The massage has a stimulating effect, which may lead to problems getting to sleep. DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock from Water! ■ Use and store only in closed rooms. ■ Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity. ■ Never immerse the device, mains cable or mains adapter in water or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet. ■ Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not at- tempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power! ■ Never touch the device, mains cable or mains adapter with wet hands when these components are connected to the mains power.15 EN WARNING – Danger of Electric Shock from Damage and Inappropriate Use! ■ Only connect the mains adapter to a plug socket with safety contacts that is properly installed and matches the technical data of the device. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. ■ Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device. ■ In the event of damage / faults (e.g. unusual noises, odour or smoke development) and in a thunderstorm, switch the device off immediately and pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket. ■ The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains adapter. Al- ways pull the mains adapter and never the mains cable to disconnect the device from the mains power. WARNING – Danger of Injuries! ■ Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the mains cable is always kept out of the reach of small children and animals. ■ The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals. The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of children and animals. Other- wise they might use the cable to pull the device down on themselves. ■ Danger of corrosive injury! (Rechargeable) batteries can be life-threatening if swal- lowed. Therefore keep (rechargeable) batteries and the remote control out of the reach of young children. If a (rechargeable) battery has been swallowed, you must seek immediate medical attention. ■ Danger of corrosive injury! If the (rechargeable) battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible. ■ Do not insert any fi ngers or other body parts into the device. Do not open the zip during use. ■ Danger of falling! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. WARNING – Danger of Fire! ■ Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust or poisonous and explosive fumes and substances in the air. ■ Do not use the device under a blanket or similar item or in the vicinity of combustible material. ■ In the event of a fi re: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the fl ames with a fi reproof blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher.EN 16 NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property ■ Do not lie or stand on the device. ■ Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, moisture and collisions. ■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. 417 EN Control Panel The control panel allows you to adjust the following settings: ON / OFF - switch the massage on and off, the device changes direc- tion every minute, the red light and heat function are automatically switched on Change of direction - the massage device massages continuously either clockwise or anticlockwise Speed - the speed can be set to three levels (slow, medium, fast) Heat - the red light and heat function can be switched off or on Vibration - additional vibration can be switched off or on Use PLEASE NOTE! ■ No pressure should be exerted on the device as this will slow down or stop the mas- sage and the device could be damaged. Do not stand or lie on the device. ■ Do not use the device for longer than 30 minutes without stopping. ■ Do not massage one group of muscles for longer than 15 minutes. ■ For reasons of hygiene, avoid direct contact of the skin with the device wherever pos- sible. It should not come into contact with skin that has had cream or oil applied to it. ■ A tingling sensation/itching during or after the massage is normal due to the circula- tion-boosting effect. We recommend that you wait an hour after mealtimes before using the device. Areas of Application When this device performs a massage, two massage heads massage the muscles twice. This is intended to relax them and boost circulation. The device is designed in particular for use on the upper back area (in particular the neck). But it can also be used to mas- sage abdominal, buttock and leg muscles. Neck and shoulders Back AbdomenEN 18 Buttocks Thighs Calves The belt can be used to fi x the device to the body. To do this, place the belt (5) through the hand loops (3).This provides more freedom of movement without the device slipping quickly. Operating the Device

1. Connect the mains adapter to the connecting cable (4) on the device.

2. Insert the mains adapter into an easily accessible socket.

3. Place the massage balls (1) of the device onto the part of the body which is to be

massaged (see the “Areas of Application” section). For a shoulder or back massage, place the straps of the device around your shoulders and fi x them in place either with the belt (5) or with your hands. To do this, place either your arms or the belt (5) through the hand loops (3). If necessary, close the belt (5) with the hook and loop fastener.

4. Press the ON / OFF button to start the massage. Use the control panel (2) to select

the function you want (see the “Items Supplied and Device Overview” chapter, “Con- trol Panel” section).

5. After 15 minutes the device automatically switches off. To switch it off sooner, press

the ON / OFF button.

6. Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket and clean the device if necessary.

Cleaning and Storage PLEASE NOTE! ■ The device may not be connected to the mains and must be completely switched off for cleaning and maintenance! ■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage the surface.

• Wipe down the device just with a damp cloth if necessary. Then wipe it down fully with a dry cloth.

• Do not wind the mains cable around the device or the mains adapter.

• Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected from sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals.19 EN Troubleshooting If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer service department. Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself! Problem Possible cause Fix The device does not work. The ON / OFF button was not pressed correctly. Press the ON / OFF button again. The mains adapter is not inserted in the plug socket or the connecting cable (6) is not connected correctly to the mains cable of the mains adapter. Correct the fi t. The plug socket is defective. Try another one. The device has switched off automatically after operating for 15 minutes. Press the ON / OFF button again. The fuse is defective. Check the fuse of the mains connection
