Frequently Asked Questions - Force Clima 14750 CECOTEC

What to do if the air conditioner does not turn on?
Check that the appliance is properly plugged in and the socket is powered. If the FL indicator flashes, empty the water from the internal tank. After plugging in, wait a few seconds and turn the appliance back on.
How to clean the filters?
Remove the EVA and CON filters (depending on the model). Clean them with hot water (40 °C) and a neutral detergent, rinse and dry thoroughly before putting them back. Perform this operation every two weeks.
What do error codes E1 and E2 mean?
E1 indicates a temperature sensor fault; E2 indicates abnormal temperature of the air outlet tube. In both cases, contact Cecotec after-sales service.
How to use the remote control?
Insert two AAA batteries into the remote control and point it at the appliance's receiver. The maximum range is about 8 meters. Replace the batteries if it no longer responds.
How to configure Wi-Fi?
Download the Smart Life – Smart Living app from Google Play or the App Store. Create an account, enable Wi-Fi on your smartphone, press and hold the connection button on the appliance for 15 seconds, then follow the instructions in the app.
Why does water accumulate in the appliance?
Water comes from condensation. If the internal tank is full, the appliance shuts off automatically and the FL indicator flashes. Empty the water manually or use continuous drainage (in dehumidification mode) with a hose to a container.
What is Night mode?
Night mode reduces fan speed and adjusts temperature to save energy. In ventilation mode, the temperature increases by 1 °C per hour. It is not available in Dehumidification and Ventilation modes.
How to install the air exhaust hose?
Assemble the hose with the air outlet nozzle. Install the sealing bracket in the window (open it halfway). Attach the flat end of the nozzle into the bracket and extend the hose without kinks (max. angle 45°). The length should be between 280 and 1500 mm.
What to do in case of abnormal noise?
Check that the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface. Ensure the air inlets and outlets are not blocked. If the noise persists, contact after-sales service.
What is the recommended ambient temperature for operation?
For cooling mode, the ambient temperature should be between 7 °C and 35 °C. In heating mode, the appliance operates optimally when the ambient temperature is lower than the set temperature.
