How to fill the water tank?

Unplug the iron. Open the water fill cover (1). Slowly pour tap water up to the MAX level. Do not exceed. Close the cover.

How to use the steam function?

Set temperature to position 3 or higher (linen/cotton). Turn the steam control knob (10) to desired position (ECO-MIN to MAX). Press the steam trigger (17) to release steam.

What to do if the soleplate doesn't heat up?

Check that the iron is plugged in and the temperature dial (13) is not at minimum. If the temperature light blinks, the iron is heating normally. Otherwise, contact support.

How to replace the anti-scale filter?

When the filter change indicator (8) lights up and the iron beeps, open the filter flap (2). Remove the old filter, insert a new filter pressing firmly. Close the flap. Press the reset button (9) for 3 seconds.

Why is the iron not producing steam?

Possible causes: empty tank, worn or incorrectly inserted anti-scale filter, steam setting on ECO-MIN, or too low temperature. Check these. On first use, hold the steam button until vibration stops.

How to clean the soleplate?

Turn off and unplug the iron. Let cool. Clean the soleplate (16) with a damp cloth and non-abrasive liquid detergent. Do not use steel wool or metal objects.

How to store the iron after use?

Turn off and unplug. Let cool. Empty tank if not used for a long time. Fold the mono-tube (14) halfway with the iron on its stand (12). Insert the tube into the cavity (4) sliding it in.

What does the filter change indicator mean?

The filter change indicator (8) lights up and a beep sounds when the anti-scale filter (18) needs replacement. The electronic system then reduces steam production to protect the appliance.

Can I use scented water or additives?

No. Never add thinners, scented liquids, or descaling products into the tank. Use only tap water. These substances damage the product and void the warranty.

What is the warranty on this appliance?

The appliance is warranted for two years from the date of delivery. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but not damage from improper use, insufficient maintenance, or failure to replace the anti-scale filter.

• After unpacking, make sure the appliance is intact, complete with all its parts as shown in the illustrative guide and with no sign of damage. If in any doubt, do not use the appliance and contact an authorised service centre.

• This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a vented steam iron for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant to the intended use and therefore dangerous.

INSERTING THE ANTI-SCALE FILTER

①NOTE: When using for the first time or whenever the product signals the need to replace the anti-scale filter (18).
① NOTE: If the anti-scale filter (18) is not inserted or inserted incorrectly, the product will not work.

Open the filter flap (2).

Remove the anti-scale filter (18) from the housing.

值 NOTE: The anti-scale filter (18) used may contain drops of water.

Place a cloth under the anti-scale filter to prevent these drops falling on to the floor.

Remove the anti-scale filter (18) from its casing.

Remove the protective red rubber pads from the anti-scale filter (18).

Insert the anti-scale filter (18) in the housing and pressing firmly into position [Fig. B].

Closes the filter flap (2).

① NOTE: When using the iron for the first time or whenever the filter is replaced, on pressing the steam request button (17), a slight buzz will be heard and the iron will not generate steam.

This is absolutely normal and is caused by the anti-scale filter filling up.

Hold the steam request button (17) pressed until the buzzing disappears and the iron begins to deliver steam.

Sort the laundry according to the international symbols shown on the label; if this is missing, sort according to the type of material.

Start by ironing the garments that require the lowest temperature.

USE

WARNING! This appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking water.

WARNING! DO NOT pour diluting agents, scented liquids or.
descaling agents into the reservoir as the use of these
substances can damage the product..

WARNING! Do not use water from dryers, air-conditioners or tumble dryers, filtered water with water softeners, or rainwater.

The reservoir may contain some water as each product is tested before being put on the market.

FILLING THE TANK

Check that the power supply cable with plug (7) is plugged into the socket.

Open the water fill cover (1).

Pour water into the tank (3) very slowly to avoid overflowing.

Do not exceed the maximum filling level indicated.

Close the water fill cover (1).

SELECTING THE TEMPERATURE

Plug the power supply cable with plug (7) into the socket.

Position the ON/OFF switch (5) to turn the product ON.

The "steam ready" light (11) will flash, indicating that the product is heating up.

Set the temperature according to the type of fabric in line with the international symbols shown on the labels; using the adjustment knob (13)..

The plate temperature light (15) indicates that the iron is warming up.

Wait for the "steam ready" (11) light to stop flashing, and the plate temperature control light (15) to go off, before starting to iron.

It is recommended that you place a cloth between the iron and the fabric when using the iron for the first time.

Before starting ironing, direct a jet of steam onto the cloth by lifting the iron slightly so that any residual condensation comes out.

Fabrics with the following symbols may not be ironed:

IRONING WITH STEAM

NOTE: steam must only be used from the 3-dot temperature position upwards. LIN-COTMax.

Turn the steam adjustment knob (10) to one of the 5 positions ranging from ECO-MIN (minimum steam) to MAX (maximum steam).

Press the steam request button (17) to iron with steam.

The soleplate temperature LED flashes intermittently while ironing, thereby indicating that the selected temperature is maintained.

IRONING WITHOUT STEAM (DRY)

Avoid pressing the steam request button (17) to iron without steam.

STEAM BOOST

With this function, the product delivers steam continuously.

To activate the "Steam boost" function, quickly press the steam request button (17) three times.

To deactivate the "Steam boost" function, press the steam request button (17) again.

END OF USE

Position the ON/OFF switch (5) to turn the product OFF.

Unplug the power supply cable with plug (7) from the socket.

Wait for the product to cool completely before putting it away.

NOTE: If the appliance is not to be used for several weeks, wait for the appliance to cool down completely before emptying the water reservoir completely according to the instructions in the relevant chapter.

When the appliance is switched on again, refill the reservoir as indicated in the relevant chapter.

EMPTYING THE TANK

Position the ON/OFF switch (5) to turn the product OFF.

Unplug the power supply cable with plug (7) from the socket.

Wait for the product to cool down completely.

Open the water fill cover (1).

Tilt the base of the appliance so that all the water in the tank (3) flows out.

Close the water fill cover (1).

Put the appliance away.

MAINTENANCE

ZEROCALC ANTI-LIMESCALE SYSTEM

Replace the anti-scale filter (18) when the filter change indicator light (8) comes on and the iron emits a warning buzz.

Follow the instructions in the specific section INSERTING THE ANTI-SCALE FILTER.

①NOTE: the electronic system modifies steam emission to safeguard the lifespan of the product. The anti-scale filter (18) must be replaced as soon as possible.

Failure to replace the anti-scale filter (18) will invalidate the warranty.

Press and hold the filter change reset button (9) for at least 3 seconds to confirm replacement until the filter change indicator (8) and the steam ready indicator light (11) emit a light signal and an audible signal.

Continue to use the iron.

CLEANING

WARNING! Make sure the plug is disconnected from the socket and the plate has cooled down completely before cleaning the iron.

Position the ON/OFF switch (5) to turn the product OFF.

Unplug the power supply cable with plug (7) from the socket.

Wait until the iron cools down completely.

Remove any starch deposits or residue on the surface of the base of the iron (16) with a damp cloth and non-abrasive liquid detergent.

Avoid scratching the base of the iron (16) with steel wool or metal objects.

Clean plastic parts with a damp cloth.

Then wipe with a dry cloth.

STORAGE

Fold the mono-tube in half (14) with the iron resting on its stand (12) [Fig. C].

Insert the folded mono-tube into the recess (4) sliding it inside the special clamp.

Slide the mono-tube (14) along the entire cable recess (4).

Insert the mono-tube (14) behind the second clamp [Fig. D].

WARNING! Risk of fire. Wait for the appliance to cool completely before storing it.

TROUBLESHOOTING

This chapter describes the most common problems that can arise using the appliance. If the problems cannot be solved with the information below, please contact the Authorised Assistance Centre.

The plate (16) remains cold or does not heat up.	There is no power supply.	Check if the power supply cable plug (7) is inserted correctly or try inserting it in another socket.
		Check whether the temperature adjustment knob (13) is set to the minimum temperature.
The plate temperature LED (14) goes on and off.	Normal procedure.	The plate temperature control LED (14) switching ON and OFF indicates the heating phase of the iron. The LED goes off once the set temperature is reached.
Only a little steam or none at all is dispensed.	There is not enough water in the reservoir (6).	Fill the reservoir (6).
	The anti-scale filter (18) is no longer effective.	When the anti-scale filter (18) is no longer effective, the electronic system modifies steam emission to safeguard the lifespan of the product. Check that the filter change LED (8) and the acoustic signal are ON and then replace the filter as indicated in the specific paragraph.
	The steam knob is on ECO-MIN (low steam level).	Check whether the level needs to be raised.
	The anti-scale filter (18) is not inserted correctly.	Cross-check the anti-scale filter insertion process as indicated in the specific paragraph.
The impurities that come out from the steam holes stain the garments.	Chemical additives, scented liquids or descaling agents are being used.	These substances damage the product: do not add additives to the water in the reservoir.
	Starch is being used.	Always spray the starch on the reverse side of the fabric.
	Use of dirty or unsuitable water.	Use tap water.
Water leaks from the plate.	The temperature adjustment knob (13) is set to a temperature that is too low.	Turn the temperature adjustment knob (13) to a position from 3 dots upwards.
	Use distilled water. Use tap water only.

DISPOSAL AT THE END OF LIFE

The appliance packaging is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the environmental protection regulations.

Pursuant to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the appliance must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.

The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the user can hand over the appliance to the retailer when a new, equivalent one is purchased. The user can hand over electronic products measuring less than 25cm to retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400m^2 free of charge and with no obligation to buy. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.

SUPPORT AND WARRANTY

The appliance is guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of delivery. This date is taken as the date on the receipt/invoice (as long as it is clearly legible), unless the purchaser can prove that delivery was made at a later date.

In the event of a product flaw already present at the time of delivery, the cost-free repair or replacement of the appliance is guaranteed unless one of the two solutions is out of proportion with the other. The purchaser is responsible for informing an Authorised Assistance Centre about the conformity flaw within two months of discovering it.

The warranty does not cover parts that may be faulty due to:

a. damage from transport or accidental drops,
b. incorrect installation or inadequate electrical system,
c. repairs or alterations performed by unauthorised personnel,
d. insufficient or improper maintenance and cleaning,
e. products and/or product parts subject to wear and/or consumables, including the reduced operating time of the batteries (if installed) due to usage or age,
f. non-observance of the operating instructions for the appliance, negligent or careless usage,
g. the water used is different from that described in the manual,
h. thinner, scented liquids or descending agents are used,
i. plate damage caused by ironing unsuitable fabrics or with inadequate temperatures for the fabric,
j. failure to replace the anti-scale filter.

The above list is merely an example; it is not complete, as this warranty in any case does not cover circumstances that cannot be traced back to manufacturing flaws.

In addition, this warranty is not considered valid in cases of improper appliance use or professional use. No responsibility can be taken for any harm or damage caused directly or indirectly to people, pets or property as a result of the failure to observe all the indications given in the "Instructions and warnings booklet" with regards the installation, use and maintenance of the appliance.

This does not apply to contract warranty actions in relation to the seller.

Assistance

The appliance may only be repaired by an authorised service centre. If the faulty appliance is under warranty, it must be sent to the Assistance Centre along with a fiscal document proving the date of purchase or delivery.
