We are delighted that you have chosen this massage mat.
Before using the device for the first time, please read the instruction manual through care fully and keep it for future reference. If the device is given to someone else, the instruction manual should also be handed over with it. It forms an integral part of the device.
The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information in this instruction manual is not complied with.
If you have any questions about the device and about spare parts / accessories, contact the customer service department via our website:
- The device is intended for massaging your neck / shoulders / back, buttocks / lumbar region and legs and is used for relaxation. It is not a replacement for medically required treatment.
- Never stand on the device.
- The device should not be used before going to bed. The massage has a stimulating effect, which may lead to problems getting to sleep.
- The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
- The device is for personal domestic use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
- Use the device only as described in the instruction manual. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
- The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety Instructions
This device should not be used by people (including children) with impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and / or knowledge of such devices, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or have received instructions from such a person on how to use the device.
■ Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children, unless they are supervised.
■ Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device and the mains cable.
■ Babies and sleeping or unconscious people may not be placed on the device.
- When the heat function is switched on, the device has a hot surface. People who due to illness or for other reasons are not sensitive to heat must not use the heat function.
- Do not use the device if the massage mat is still damp. It must be completely dry before the device can be switched back on again.
- Do not switch on the device when it is folded up and allow the device to cool down before you fold it up and store it away.
- Do not insert any safety pins, drawing pins or other pointed objects into the device.
- Do not use the mains adapter with another device and never use the device with another mains adapter.
- The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals. Improper use can lead to injuries and electric shock.
- The device must always be disconnected from the mains power when left unattended and before cleaning it.
- Check the device for damage each time before you use it. Only use the device if the device, mains cable and mains adapter have no signs of damage! If the device, the mains cable or the mains adapter are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or a specialist workshop in order to avoid any hazards.
- Follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter!

Dangers for the Following Groups of People
■ Pregnant women should not use the device or use it only after consultation with their doctor.
■ People with a pacemaker may use the device only after consultation with their doctor.
■ People who have no feeling in their neck or back or people with circulation problems may not use the device.
- Do not use the device on swelling or sore areas of skin.
If you have any concerns about your health, consult a doctor before using the device.

DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock
- Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate the device in rooms with high humidity.
- Never immerse the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, the mains cable and the mains adapter cannot fall into water or become wet.
- Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
- Never touch the device, mains cable or mains adapter with wet hands when these components are connected to the mains power.
- Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned or been dropped in water. Have it checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.

WARNING – Danger of Injury
■ Danger of Suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
The device may only be used by people who are able to handle the controller.
- Danger of tripping! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard.

WARNING – Danger of Fire
- Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive substances.
- Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device and the mains adapter.
To prevent overheating, do not use the device under a blanket or similar cover. Do not place the mains cable or the controller on or beneath the device during operation.
■ Unwind the mains cable fully before connecting the mains adapter.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
The mains adapter should only be connected to a properly installed socket with safety contacts. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the rating plate of the device and the mains adapter.
- The device must be switched off when the mains adapter is pulled out or inserted into the plug socket.
- Keep the device away from sharp objects.
■ Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot surfaces..
■ Switch off the device and pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket if an error occurs during operation or before a thunderstorm.
- When the mains adapter is removed from the plug socket, always pull on the mains adapter and never the mains cable.
- Do not pull or carry the device by the mains cable. Never wind the mains cable around the device or the mains adapter.

■ Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid damage.
■ Never place heavy objects on the device or the mains cable.
- Protect the device from heat sources, naked flames, sub-zero temperatures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and impacts.

Before Initial Use
Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising. Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
Use

PLEASE NOTE!
-
Do not use it in bed. Do not fall asleep during use.
The device must not be folded up or covered when it is switched on. Do not place the mains cable or the controller on or beneath the device during operation. -
Place the massage mat down on a sofa or chair, for example, or lay it out on the floor. If necessary, fix it in place with the fastening strap so that it does not slip.

Connect the barrel connector of the mains adapter to the connecting socket on the controller and insert the mains adapter into an easily accessible plug socket.
-
Sit down or lie down on the massage mat so that the massage motors are located in the middle.
-
Take the controller in your hand and press the AN/AUS (on/off) button. The operating lamp lights up.
-
You can set the massage zone(s) of your choice by pressing the buttons on the controller. You can increase the intensity of the individual massage zones by pressing the respective button again (see the "Device Overview" chapter – "Controller").

Also switch on the heat function if necessary (see the "Device Overview" chapter – "Controller"). You can also switch on the heat function exclusively by pressing the WÄRME (heat) button instead of a massage zone.

Remain lying on the massage mat for the time you want. We recommend that you use each massage programme for no more than 15 minutes.
- The device switches off automatically after approx. 15 minutes. For another massage programme press the AN / AUS (on / off) on the controller button again.
- Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket and disconnect the barrel connector from the device.
- Allow the device to cool down if the heat function was activated before you put it away or clean it (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!
- Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the device. These could damage the surfaces.
- Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains power and has cooled down.
- Clean the device only with a slightly damp cloth.
- When storing it away, do not press the device together too strongly and do not use force. It could be damaged.
- Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected from sunlight and is not accessible to children or animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device stops working properly, first check whether you are able to correct the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer service department.

Do not attempt to repair a electrical device yourself!
